I LOVED Fantilli's speed and his dedication, but his skill and IQ kind of let me down.

Our draft team seems to really value the "playing against men" factor.

Playing against men in SHL at 16 y.o. is an incredible feat.

I'm hesitant, since I want more straightforward scoring on this team, but I honestly think there's a possibility Carlsson becomes the better player over time. Fantilli has clear flaws that scouts have pointed out, and it's not entirely clear whether he'll ever be able to grow out of those.

Give Carlsson an adult man's frame and he'll be a force.

Carlsson is probably going to be a great player, maybe he even puts up more points than Fantilli but I just don’t see him ever being a more impactful player. Fantilli has that rare combination of extreme skill, extreme motor, and extreme dedication to do whatever it takes to win.

Just not sure I see that kind of upside in Leo.

Oh well, here’s hoping he proves me wrong and becomes one of the best Ducks of all time.

hilarious seeing so many of you cry about this when the entire goal of tanking was to guarantee one of fantilli or carlsson

i think our scouts have done more than enough for us to trust their decision making

I don't think our scouting/player development has been doing a good job at all especially with forwards

Leo has the higher offensive potential, higher IQ and is a puck hound, and knows where to go. He can easily adapt a more physical game with his size.
