Weekes doing his usual expansion rumor mongering that a New Orleans party has met with the NHL. Have doubts about the realism of the idea, but I'm for any Central Time Zone city being added, be that New Orleans, Kansas City, Houston, or Milwaukee.

You can dominate the AHL at under 6 feet. Doesn't usually translate to playing against the best of the best.
Darren Haydar was like 5'8. He was like a softer slower Kane. Elite playmaker. Good shooter. Had a 41/81/122 point season in 73 games. Played with career tweener in Jason Krog who put up 80 in forty something games and Brett Sterling who buried 55 goals for the Wolves that year and had a nothing career.

As long as you don’t look at backlash on Twitter, there aren’t many better places to play in as an NHLer than Toronto. He’s likely nice and comfy there and the team is still fun to play for.

Plus he gets summers off, so that’s nice, too.

I know, pot calling the kettle black, but I don’t have expectations for the Hawks yet, so no skin off my back to cast some shade.

Didn't feel like finding the Bobby Hull thread but I'm not surprised at all with this news.

If more athletes and athletes’ families signed off on having their brains removed for study, I think the number with CTE would shock people.

Everybody is looking for the massive hits and the knock-out blows, but its the smaller hits, the smaller whips of the head from impact, that happen several times per game over the course of years that are the real killer.
