Zibanajed vs Bennett in a puck battle in the last 5 minutes of the game is a no-contest. Game over.... and probably the series as well.

Some elite talents just aren't worth the huge contract because at the end of the day if you're not going to kill it in the playoffs what are you really worth? That Leafs core, Panarin, Gaudreau, and apparently EP 40 as well.

Tallon didn’t draft Keith, Seabrook, Hjalmarsson, Crawford, Byfuglien etc if you want to deny Bowman any credit for 2010.

We don’t win in 2013 and 2015 without Bowman being able to add players like Saad, Oduya, Darling, Hanszeus, Teravainen, Leddy, and all the other depth guys that had to be added.

Tallon almost had the team implode before their first cup due to his f*** up with the RFAs which saw Versteeg, Byfuglien, Brouwer, Barker, Eager, Crawford, among others become UFAs instead of RFAs resulting in every one of them getting more money than they would have.

Who was tasked with sending out the RFA contracts before 7/1 and then sent them ON 7/1 instead?
I don’t want to give it away too easy but his initials are Stan Bowman.

Watching Hughes fumble around out there makes me appreciate just how good Keith was. Now there’s a defenseman who elevated his game when the going got tough.

Keith’s age 24 season was his 1st decent season.
I think in the end Keith will have been the better defender but Hughes is much better at offense.
