Further context

Harrington maybe should have handled it a little better, but he isn't deserving of the demands he be fired and being harassed now for this video from years ago especially since context and others on scene are backing up that he was doing it for right reasons not malice/contempt for kids and other stuff he is being accused of

Personally, if you're going to do Jr Reporters and other things involving kids in stuff for media you should have them in more friendly/team-oriented events and such.

Sorta how Hawks had the kid doing fluff stuff years ago.

Also, its clear some of the people posting video/talking about it don't have good relationship with or view Harrington positively so the mob being built up and encouraged on social media is BS

Maybe Harrington is biggest asshole in world but this incident from years ago is not something that should result in a person losing job or being harassed and threatened online.

Its being talked about because the guy is a prick in general. Not just this video. His explanation is "fine" in my opinion but I still think if that scenario happens you treat kids better than he did in this video.

If it was me I promise you I would.

Can you give me a quick summary of what this is all about? I just watched the video where the fat guy is rude to a little kid and don't have any context

He gave a statement that the reason he did it was because Risto was dropping F bombs and didn’t want the kid to hear.

This reporter is a KNOWN jackass. So yeah.. while i think the act of not having a kid reporter around that is fine. The way he did it screams he doesn’t understand kids or human emotion in general, which is maybe why he’s such a prick

In other news the Wild did not wear the jerseys for pride night (when that was the plan). Put out a statement that they support the community after the gsme.

Kaprizov, is my guess. They probably scrapped it so he wouldn't face the same criticism Provorov did for refusing to wear it.

I just remember Pat and Dale broadcasting from there and Dale always loved the city. Went there for a conference 10 years ago and fell in love with the place. It is a great city.
