Wow. Really liked him on Vegas.Vegas trades Reily Smith to Pittsburgh for a 3rd pick
Didn't see this until tonight as it was lost in draft/trade/signing news
Tough for kid after decent rookie season. Good news is full recovery is expected
Jack Quinn had surgery on his Achilles"Tweet was unavailable". What was it about?
It's notYamamoto is surprising.
Hates him already just for being a rookie.Happy Fantilli is in Columbus. Curious if Babcock will ruin him before he even gets a chance.
Fantilli plays a 200 foot game, goes to the corners and has grit. If anything, Torts will probably love him... on the 3rd line.
Problem for Fantilli is he isn't playing for Torts
He is playing for Babcock.
Remember the shit he pulled to try and turn locker room against a rookie Marner
In the days after the Toronto Maple Leafs fired Mike Babcock last Wednesday, a report surfaced that during the 2016-17 season, the head coach asked then-rookie Mitch Marner to rank his teammates from hardest to least hardest working…and then shared Marner’s opinions with the players.
“I was lucky enough that the guys that were there with me, none of them took it to heart and they knew it wasn't up to me [to make the list],” Marner said. “But it's so long ago now.
“It was huge for a first-year guy,” Marner said. “When I heard about [what Babcock did], I didn't really know what to think. But I was lucky enough to have that first-year group with me and our team was very tight and very well-knit together. That was a lucky situation. But it's over with now; it's out of my head.”
I'm sure Babcock will repeat those antics and didn't learn anything...Marner/Babcock incident for those that dont remember
Marner: 'It was surprising' Babcock shared work effort list - TSN.ca
Maple Leafs winger Mitch Marner talked to TSN Monday about the report that then-head coach Mike Babcock asked him during his rookie year to rank his teammates from hardest to least hardest working - and then shared his opinions with the players.www.tsn.ca
You honestly expect that man to have learned much though? He also got called out by Detroit players like Frazen as just being a terrible person but has shown no remorse or change publicly.I'm sure Babcock will repeat those antics and didn't learn anything...
