Awful for Letang. He seems to be in good health (all things considered), and he managed pretty damn well for himself after his 1st stroke in 2014, but having multiple strokes at that young of an age isn't good.

I wanted to see the Pens demise, but absolutely not like this.

Kris Letang out long term. Suffered a stroke.
Absolutely terrible news. I hope he is ok long-term and I am not talking about hockey.

I know it is a crazy thought but if his career is over I wonder if the Penguins will make an attempt to acquire Erik Karlsson if they can make the cap work. I wonder if a team like Arizona would be willing to eat some of his deal. Yes, I know he has 4 years remaining on his deal but Arizona has 17 million in cap space and you have to think the Sharks would be willing to eat some to move on with their rebuild. Acquiring Karlsson would be a huge risk with his age, health concerns, and length of his deal but he has look incredible this season and would allow the Penguins to make their final runs before Sid, Malkin, etc. are done.

Apparently he's had one before, and has some cardiovascular health issues. Good luck to him, and I hope he thinks long and hard about continuing to play.

He was born with a small hole in his heart.

Yeah, that's what I said.

He was born with a hole in his heart that never closed.

My guess is he's likely going to retire. If not now, then at the end of the season.

Dylan Cozens having himself a breakout year so far. Didn't Musto say he was a garbage prospect? Another failed evaluation.
I hated Cozens as a prospect.

Very low IQ player, very prone to making mistakes.

Good for him if he's putting up points. Still wouldn't want him on my team.

Oof. NJ gave up a tying goal to Nashville with 8 seconds left and then quickly lost in ot after a sloppy turnover.
