Josh Manson was born in Hinsdale, IL! Shame on us HF Hawks! We should've been cheering for this guy like crazy

Manson is a guy several of us have liked for years.
You must talk about him in the Prospect Thread or something because i've never seen his name brought up. That's pretty sick we have a local guy playing in the Conference Final and might even win a Stanley Cup

That Francouz save on McDavid during there powerplay was filthy. HILARIOUS terrible goal by Smith to follow it up with. McDavid should ask for a trade. He's the best on the planet but it's not enough in the playoffs. He already has 30pts and it's not enough despite him doing everything he can

Smith has been perforated, and he’s still going to end this series with a 920 sv% at this rate.

Colorado is just so much better than Edmonton, its crazy. This Colorado team might have a case as one of the best single-season performances of the cap era if they finish the job.

For those curious about Bissonette’s head he did lose a bet, they showed ryan whitney shaving his head before the game. 3 weeks in he was hyped on calgary and whitney was stoked on edmonton so they made a wager. If Edmonton made it farther he had to cut his hair like this (he had a similar haircut/wig in a canadian mc donalds commercial or something) I think he’s just doing it for a week. If Calgary made it farther Whitney was gunna have to wear a huge barry bonds-esque cross earring for a month.

Deserved.

Much deserved. It was only a matter of time before he screwed up somehow. Not necessarily hurting an opponent, but I felt when they signed him he would somehow be a detriment to them at some point. That hit killed any momentum they had early in that game as well.

You see what you want to see. Some would argue that that successful penalty kill added to Oilers momentum.

Personally, though a definite penalty, I thought the 5-minute major a tad harsh. Kadri saw him coming, knew he was going to get hit and showed him the numbers (a too common theme in today's NHL).

Also, pertaining to it not being a major, or somehow Kadri's fault; holy f***.

Not protecting oneself is the worst thing a player can do. Kane got 5 minutes. What did Kadri get? He's no dummy. He knew turning away would draw a penalty and now he pays the price.

He never turned away. He was in the same position all the way to the boards. Players get involved in races to loose pucks all the time, sometimes going into the boards. Kadri has every right not to expect to be crosschecked in the back while skating towards the boards. It's an incredibly dirty and unexpected play.

Your position is beyond idiotic. Even for you.

Unexpected.... you say. You think Kadri didn't know he was going to get hit. You think he didn't know who was bearing down on him. Gotcha. Ever play the game? Kane should have eased up and Kadri gambled that by turning he would but he didn't ... to no ones surprise .... but please don't say it was unexpected.

Guy has injured other people doing exactly what happened to him and been suspended for it, no he's not expecting to get hit in that clear dirty way or Intentionally gambiling putting himself in that spot, he's playing the puck.
