Why rinks in inner cities? I guarantee you if they put a rink in the inner city in St. Louis, it would be a run down, deserted building within 3 years.

If the program is funded and supported....no? The Snider Youth Hockey Foundation in Philly helps support a handful of rinks in partnership with the city's parks and recreation department. It's an excellent program and the facilities are all well-maintained through the partnership.

You can Play....hockey is for everyone and now inclusion

yet....

All this stuff has its genesis from the time in which the Blackhawks scandal, which has since been swept under the rug, had been ongoing.

They don't care, their big cash cow just drafted the most recent generational talent and things will just go back to business as usual once everyone forgets about this recent pandering stunt like they forgot about Kyle Beach.

NHL helping to build and maintain more ice rinks which provide hockey gear at the rinks for kids to use and organize with schools for field trips to the rinks to teach kids how to skate and play hockey. That will be big for getting more and more people interested in hockey.
