Why trade assets for Faber when Niemela was there. Don't like that move

Didn't the Kings do the same in Lombardi's early years at the draft? I seem to recall they traded one of their 2nd round selections, which they had multiple picks in the round, to Colorado for Brad Richardson. One of those ones where you take a shot and see how it works out.

Brock Faber
"Skating defenceman who has shown a penchant for jumping into the offensive attack. Has become a really solid defender using his skating to close on opponents, beat pressure and in transition."
Projection: No. 4/No. 5 Two-Way Right Defenceman
Comparable: Brandon Montour

65 - Minny - Daemon Hunt - I liked this kid

With the Kings acquiring Andersson, I wonder if they take a defenseman at 66? Or maybe a goalie - Daws?

Kasper Simontaival

He's a true dual-threat winger with two-way upside, a sturdy frame, and the type of competitiveness necessary to hang in there as a vertically-challenged forward. The 5-foot-9 winger has a lethal release that can beat goalies from tough angles and long distances. He wields the best shot out of Finland in this year's draft. -EliteProspects 2020 NHL Draft Guide
