I wouldn't put him that high without raising other goalies then too. The Vezina race between Rinne and Price, for example, was very tight (even in Rinne's favor) until Rinne got injured. When he came back, he did not look the same.

Had the chance to break the record for wins if things had gone right.

I think Toews deserves to given the highest rating in the NHL 16', or atleast be tied with Crosby. I also wouldn't be upset if Toews was given a 94, while Crosby was dropped to 93 and became tied with Ovechkin.

It pains me to say this as a Canucks fan, but Toews absolutely deserves to be the new face of the NHL. 3 cups to Sidney's 1.

What does Lindros have to do with Giroux and Towes? I simply stated that the ratings are jacked cause Pominville is somehow 1 point lower than Giroux and that Towes is 2 higher than Giroux. I will undoubtedly agree that Towes is a far superior defensive player but will also say that Giroux is a far superior offensive player. Both players are the same in the dot. It just seems like a popularity contest to determine these ratings. I admit I'm a Flyers fan but I also keep a good perspective on reality. Then when I see a poster with a screeename with an obvious homer name tell me it isn't close how am I supposed to react to that?

I really wish your #'s are correct. It would make the game so much more fun and offensive if these are the ratings. However, i dont' think we'll see Price at 96, Tavares 94, Kane 94, etc..

I am pretty sure i read it somewhere that some ratings came out already and they were disappointing. Unless i dreamt it, i think pacioretty was like 87, sid was 91 or so, toews was 89, etc.. numbers were so low. ppl were all complaining. if toews is 89 and sid 91, this game will not be as fun.

I hope i'm wrong.
