A lot of these ratings are ridiculously high. I mean i did skip out on NHL 15, so maybe the ratings shot up that year or something.

I wish Hut was like the Hut in FIFA. Where an 86 overall player with good stats is like 15k-20k.

NHL 15 hut was terrible. Eric
Staal and Krejic and other high overall players were only like 3-5k when Hut was at its peak. And Karlsson was only like 35k. They need to make the overalls lower in Hut but for GM mode and everything else, they should be normal. For example, Crosby in hut- 92/93. Crosby regular- 95-97. And ect. It would make Hut much more fun because then players will actually cost what they should cost.

NHL 16 is coming up soon... :sarcasm: so it's the time to predict the player overalls of our favourite team:

PENGUINS

Kunitz (84) - Crosby (94) - Hornqvist (86)
Perron (84) - Malkin (92) - Dupuis (82)
Spaling (81) - Sutter (84) - Comeau (82)
Bennett (81) - Winnik (81) - Downie (82)

Martin (85) - Letang (89)
Maatta (84) - Ehrhoff (84)
Scuderi (81) - Pouliot (80)
Cole (81) - Lovejoy (79)

Fleury (90)
Greiss (80)

This is my opinion.

Top Players:

Crosby (94)
Toews (93)
Ovechkin (93)
Price (93)
Tavares (92)
Stamkos (92)
Malkin (92)
Lundqvist (92)
Weber (92)
Perry (92)
Getzlaf (92)
Karlsson (91)
Seguin (91)
Benn (91)
Kane (91)
Giroux (91)
Subban (91)
Rinne (91)
Backstrom (90)
Voracek (90)

well I will start off by saying your post has simply made me feel embarrassed for you. My question is in what world is Pavel Datsyuk not a top 20 player in the league? And how on earth is Voracek better then Pavel?

Whats with the hate / lack of recognition for Datsyuk. He is one of the best players in this league. I do not care if he is 37. He put up over a point per game last year while being one of the best defensive forwards. If he played 82 games he would have been a top 5 point producer. Over his career he has ""arguably"" been the best player in the league.

Can somebody please explain the hate? cause to me its simply jealousy.

You just seem to be biased Detroit fan. I like Datsyuk, but how was he ''arguably'' the best player over his career? He has been elite, but there was always someone better.

They need to fix ratings. It is a joke..
It looks like everyone is way too overrated and then fans make crazy predictions like Brass - 88, Nyquist - 88, Foligno - 90, Rask - 94 etc.
Not saying they are bad players but how can Foligno coming from 1 good season be 90 overall. They need to learn from FIFA and make players overalls slightly lower and look at individual stats. Drouin in NHL15 has 85 skating.. same as Andrew Shaw. I want to see a race between these 2 and see how winner of skating competition in all-star game is on the same level as 3rd line wing. It is just stupid. Well we already know that overalls mean nothing but still. And it looks like that no European player can even match NHL player. Jakub Svoboda (53 overall), one of the quickest skaters in Extraliga has 70 skating, John Scott 82 skating. I don't want to be biased fan from Europe but it's just stupid.

How I see ratings for team like dallas:

Benn 89 Seguin 90 Nichushkin 75
Sharp 86 Spezza 85 Hemsky 81
Roussel 78 Eakin 81 Eaves 77
Moen 75 Fiddler 74 Sceviour 72

Klingberg 81 Goligoski 83
Demers 81 Oduya 83
Nemeth 80 Benn 75

Lehtonen 83
Niemi 81

How the rating will look like:

Benn 92 Seguin 91 Nichushkin 84
Sharp 88 Spezza 87 Hemsky 85
Roussel 82 Eakin 84 Eaves 81
Moen 79 Fiddler 80 Sceviour 78

Klingberg 85 Goligoski 85
Demers 84 Oduya 85
Nemeth 83 Benn 81

Lehtonen 86
Niemi 86

Ok how has Pavel "arguably" been the best player in the league? Please inform me.

Some of The players themselves have said and have voted pavel datsyuk over his carrer to be the best player in the league. That right there is is enough evidence to prove he is a top grade player.

I did not say he was the best. I said in an argument you could make a case for pavel.

So now you please inform me how he is not a top 20 player in the NHL.

Arguably meaning you could make a case for him. I never said he was the best

I never said he wasn't a top 20 player. I do think that he is regressing and is going to not be a top 20 player this year. I could also easily pick 20 players I would have over him NOW (Purely value and age). And by your logic that must mean Jaromir Jagr is better than Crosby because he has better career stats (more points) right? Now to really show that your are wrong that Datsyuk is the best player, listen to this, in 887 games, Datsyuk has 869 points which is still good. Now in 627 games, Crosby has 853 points. Even if you were going by career stats between the two Crosby still has had the better career. I only did Crosby vs. Datsyuk because Crosbu is the best player in the NHL and you said Datsyuk is the best so thats that. Now back to you, inform me who these players are who said that Pavel was the best player.

O.V.E.R.R.A.T.E.D for me

Datsyuk is good (I'd place him at 89 ovr) but Voracek is better (I hate the flyers)
Voracek is completely better offensively and Datsyuk is better defensively. Plus, Datsyuk is old so Ive expected regress in his case.

It's your opinion but Datsyuk at 93 is ********
