Wait, that's actually a new rule this year? No gloving the puck down in the defensive zone?

I'm pretty sure that was just typical exaggeration by an announcer. You can't close your hand on the puck anywhere on the ice, although refs are very lenient with that. I think it was just a weird way of Crosby going about the play.

I'm just pissed with the whole thing. I'm trying to give the Philly / Pens game a chance and it's making me sick that there isn't a single empty seat in sight. Like the last 4 months never happened lol.

Hockey fans just want things back to normal. I'm over it already.

btw that kings ****show was way over the top.

Ridiculously over the top. It's like they never won the Cup before.

oh

Well, it was Pierre, so you've probably got something there.

He made it seem like you can't use your open hand to clear or pass the puck in the defensive loan if you're on the pk. Pierre thought the penguins were getting called for it in the 3rd period at the end

I know someone mentioned it earlier, but it's embarrassing how few people are at the Panthers opening night game that's on a Saturday.

Well I guess the NHL didn't make it out of the lockout totally unscathed, the momentum in Florida's been stunted. Tampa probably had good attendance though, especially after their promos?

Tampa announced a sell out.

Admittedly, watching the first part of that video (the Panther highlights) it really didn't look like a lot of empty seats, when the **** were you guys watching the game, early in a period when people were still at concession lines? Or maybe they just left early cause the game was over after twenty minutes

Any reason why we out of all fan bases are critcizing the attendance of another team?

Those LA Queens do everything like amateurs and jag offs. That ceremony to the patches, their Twitter account, all the bs with urinals last year and so on. What's next, spiking the puck after they score?

Also, Huberdeau is going to win the Calder this year. Going to be a SICK class though. Yakupov, Schultz, Huberdeau, Schiefle, Baertschi, Kreider, Tarasenko

Once I saw Tarasenko with Kovalchuk I knew it would be him, and I am sticking with my pick
