My guess is that the Rags will go on a run and will easily make the playoffs. The back half of the division will start to slide away and they'll be feasted on by good teams, including the Rags.
I’m not saying you’re wrong but…I’m more in favor of their house burning down. I can live with them getting another high draft pick. They’ll screw it up anyway.

looks like a missed attempted elbow to the head, no?
he's an idiot. at least when my guy mayfield goes to work, he's become more subtle, in tight, stick to the back of the neck, not as baltant as the beautiful corner massage to the ribs (right nikita)?

i did love when johnny hockey and him were tangled skating up ice last week and johnny got a step on him, scotty just punched him in the back of the head. johnny just pretended like it never happened and unlike our team, nobody took up for Mr. Hockey

I assume he was trying to spark his team with a big hit but, wow, that is definitely not the way to go about it. Connecting on that hit probably would have caused a host of new problems.
You sometimes see dangerous hits where the player simply reacts to thinking they might miss the hit and get burned, so they stick out a knee or an elbow. Those I can understand, even though they should obviously be penalized. This one, it looks like he had that elbow cocked from the go and was looking to do something vicious.

Oof, seeing Shesty get heckled in his own rink is hard to watch... and by that I mean an absolute joy to watch

The Devils sure have got something going here, watching all those fast young guys fly around the ice reminds me of another Lindy Ruff team - the post-lockout Sabres. Hopefully Lambert and co. can find a way to bottle these guys up eventually.

Hintz is a year older than Barzal and didn’t have a breakout year until last year. Barzal has a much longer track record and his 85pt rookie season set the bar for him. Barzal is proving what he can do and what we all know he is. An elite playmaking center. Also, Trotz might have affected his point totals but in the long run I think Trotz made Barzal way more of a complete player. Definitely a lot more than he would Have been to this point if he had other head coaches.

The one thing DAL is showing is that you have to scout and and draft right. Their 2 best forwards are 2nd round picks.

Tale of two teams: look at the 2017 draft for Dallas vs Philadelphia.
