Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Having Dahlin and Power (already) arriving at the same time is huge.
Not a lot of teams around the league have two such Dmen that age becoming above-average in their impact on the game at the same time.

I’ve wondered what his plans are after this year. Buffalo would happily take him back on the ice in his role but he’d be taking a pay cut. He’d be taking a pay cut if he chose to continue playing anywhere, obviously. Their organization clearly loves him and if he has any interest in working in a front office role after his playing career I have no doubt they’d offer him a job doing something he was interested in.
If it wasn’t for the scary head injury history I’d have no doubt he’d play more for sure…but he’s a family guy and he knows what he almost lost. Maybe he just wants to live out the dad life full time. He’s certainly earned it. Maybe he wants to play another year and continue being a leader to all the Sabres kids who refer to him as dad. Maybe he wants a future in hockey off the ice. He‘s going to have the opportunity to choose any of those or anything else. And I have no idea which way he’s thinking.
