During our opener against Florida Brendan mentioned how they are at the minimum player roster due to cap restraints. Well, Montour injured tonight so they are dressing 5 defenseman, lol.

Honesty that was my first thought. We all know the truth but you don’t disrespect another pro team like that. Especially after they beat you lol


And if you have elite talent and lose to a team with “ no elite” talent than that’s an indictment on YOU the coach!

Feel like this was easily taken out of context. This could just be him trying to call out his team. He could have worded it better, but claiming his goal was to trash the other team is just conjecture. I hate the Leafs along with the rest of you but I'm not going to lose logic and sanity doing it...

Actually, I went to their board because once in awhile I like to just go there and respond with laughing reactions since they do it to us from time to time, only to find that most were mature and said the call on the waived off goal was dodgy, but doesn't matter because their team played like crap. I think it's just the Leaf's fan that venture out of their vacuum that are mentally unwell.

It was definitely him calling out his team but in doing so he disrespected the opposing team/players. Doesn’t have to be his intention but it was still disrespectful.

Not sure there was any way he could call out his team without being a bit disrespectful.

- It's a team they should beat
- They are better on paper
- They have many players making big bucks

Probably decided the message was too important to care about the other team's feelings. That's my two cents anyway.

Easy. Don’t mention the other team at all lol. It’s actually pretty simple

Possible. I'm not sure what the question he is responding to is. If they said something about Arizona he might feel obliged to mention it. But, it's not really that important. They are all grown men. Arizona will just use this as ammunition to continue to play spoiler. Garth Snow is somewhere shaking his head saying, "They shit on me too".
