Uff. Now the Sens need a goaltender.

It always seems to be something with Talbot. Either hurt, unhappy or both. Of course in this instance, Guerin might have been sticking needles in a voodoo doll of Cam.

Serious question. What went wrong with Lias Andersson?

It's a good thing Darryl Sutter doesn't work for Lou. He would have fired him for losing the way the Flames did.

I can't imagine he won't get claimed. I'd be fine with the Isles getting him. He's got about 3" and 30lbs on Aho. He was so highly touted - I know guys don't always pan out, but it seems with him it was more dealing with some injuries. Chances are some non-contending team higher in the order than us will take a flyer on him.

Valimaki and Wolanin on waivers today

Reilly's contract is an anchor.
I thought we had 3.5 mill in cap space a day or two ago and today I see we’re only 1.7 mil under. 3 Mil for a 3rd pair isn’t too bad for a 3rd pair d …Wondering how that happened..

I have liked Reilly for a while but, given the way Salo has played, I think he has earned the 6th spot. Probably too late to upset the apple cart now.

I assume it would take someone like Clutter going on LTIR and being more injured than expected, thereby freeing up space, to make a claim like Reilly even remotely possible.and even then, doubtful.

Definitely could have used Reilly last season however.

That Weegar contract, added to Kadri and Hubereau, the Flames better win a lot over the next 2-3 years or they will be in serious trouble.

And they have to make a lot of tough calls on other players in a couple seasons too.

But I guess, if it doesn't work out near term, they can sell off the bulk of those players and rebuild, provided they don't hand out anymore long-term deals.

If I’m Michael Dal Colle I’m looking in the mirror and asking myself what I want to do with my life other than playing pro hockey.
