Do we need a “Other Games” thread?
I don’t think that was a penalty shot for TB. You want to call a 2 min hold, fine. Penalty shot? Looked iffy to me.
Hell of a soccer flop to get TB the PP. A shame there’s flopping in the NHL now.
ESPN is bizarre. During the Nashville game, some TB player blocked a shot with his knee or got hit or whatever and struggles to the bench. ESPN does a split screen with this guy doubled over on the bench and the game on the other half. And this went on for almost a minute. Like who fvcking cares about this dude, put the game on full screen. Show the dude when the play stops. SMHWatching pens/hawks.

It was a high stick that almost but didn’t hit the TB player in the face. Refs called the penalty. But then on the Chicago game, refs changed a call after review and said it wasn’t a high stick. Why couldn’t they review the TB call then?I'm not watching that game but if it's a head snap that's obviously fake it should be a suspension. I can't stand faking injuries.
Back in my day...
Korchinski is very impressive in his debut tooBedard looks solid. Lots of shots on Jarry.
It’ll be tough for Pitt to win a lot of games if they don’t score 4 or more goals every nightWell, the Karlson era in Pittsburgh is now 0-1
What a shame . . .
Wanted him on the isles. He looked like the kind of player they needed in 2022.Korchinski is very impressive in his debut too
Great skater, he’s going to be a top pair guy soon

I obviously don't actually know but I firmly believe he was our target. He was a late riser, exactly what we needed. He got taken, we traded the pick for a smooth skating young LH dman. Obviously different styles but I remember Lou saying the pick became available based on the players left around their selection.Wanted him on the isles. Honestly had to be between Mateychuk and him. Isles needed a defenseman to replace Leddy/Toews, and they didn't get that in the draft. Make sense they took Odelius and George since both can be similar to the type of defense that those two played.I obviously don't actually know but I firmly believe he was our target. So me connecting the dots on players taken above with what we ended up acquiring, I think they were high on him.
The excitement of the third period of the lightning/preds game was completely ruined by Bucci and crewI put the game on, and turned it off 5 minutes later. I simply can't watch their broadcasts, unless it's an Isles game, and even then it's a painful experience.

Impossible!!! Many of the posters here said he's too slow and sucks. After all, at 26 years old he was washed up and can't improve . . .There was a game long ago, maybe against Tampa at the beginning of the season where he looked awesome and had a goal. Thought we had found something with the Swede...
Side note on someone who looks Swedish...that Brock Boeser guy had 4 goals last night
Edit- only one of them was a really "nice" goal though
He's on the wrong side of 30.After all, at 26 years old
Brock Boeser was born in 1997; that was not a hard one to look up before you commented. He's on the wrong side of 30.
