Snow may have been the better option.
Donny can hire Snow, fire Daryl Sutter and replace him with Capuano. Destruction of his 2nd team complete.

Better lock up Chris Lamoriello, lots of suitors opening up for one of the brightest and up and coming minds in the hockey-sphere.
With Don Maloney still on the scene, I have to say Chris Lamoriello's stock just doubled.

Watching some of the western conference playoff games and seeing their power plays….moving the puck with speed, purpose, and creativity. It’s like night and day when you compare it to NYI’s stagnant, deliberate, dull, predictable, anemic PP

MD in MD80... McDonnell Douglass. They were merged with Boeing in 1997 and no longer exist. MD80 through MD90 variants stopped production shortly after. Boeing also had a run of B717-200's also built off of the MD80/90 platforms.

Older planes are constantly being phased out, but the new replacements are increasingly focused on composite material over metal. Due to being lighter for increased fuel efficiency.

Anyone else here an airline enthusiast? It's a small hobby of mine only.

Not a big fan of all of the boring twin-jets in euro white liveries in this day and age.

B747-200 and B727-200 in Pan Am meatball are still my favorite. Except maybe L1011-500 in just about any livery, especially Eastern Airlines white.
I flew on the gigantic A-380 a couple of years ago. Wow!!! Nicest plane I've ever been on. Even coach was magnificent. So smooth you couldn't feel when the plane left the ground or touched down.

I went down for the game in Tampa a few weeks ago. When we got back to NY, one of those A-380’s was pulling up to the gate next to us, that thing is Massive! I thought it was going to crush our little jet blue plane.

While I’m not a white knuckle flyer I really just hope I don’t crash as I’m flying in the sky inside a tin can.

I prefer my feet on the ground.

Yeah Edmonton especially. It's like they are guaranteed to have at least 2 grade-A scoring chances on each PP.

But there was some glimmer of hope for us in game 1. I liked the way we moved the puck, for the most part. Hoping Barzal/Horvat connect tonight.

That’s cool. I have yet to even see an actual A380. I still hope to fly one before they get removed from circulation.

Airbus at the time of their development counted on the industry wanting long-flights by many people to major destinations.

Boeing (B787) counted on smaller flights to greater amount of destinations. Seems Boeing understood the market better.

That’s just a quick explanation. But basically all the four engine planes are being pulled for passenger use.

That’s the thing, they’re no longer tin or metal. But composite… you know like the stuff hockey sticks are made of now.

So no worries! ;)

Holy crap this is classic.

Watching leafs nation continue to implode is just fantastic

I don’t get the notion of being upset at fans booing when their team plays like shit

You cheer when they play well, boo when the play like shit. I’m sure the fans there paid ALOT to be there, I’d boo too if they came out and played like crap

They weren’t just booing them because of 20 mins of hockey, they were booing them for almost 20 years of playoff failure.

Rags fans complaining about the Bruins getting favorable contracts and trades for players is f-cking hilarious.

Let's see, we have Zibs (gift trade), Panarin (FA), Fox (forced trade via college loophole), Kane (forced trade), Tank (forced trade), Trocheck (FA), Vesey (FA and college loophole), Trouba (forced trade), etc.

Talk about "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".

They also got lucky at the drafts and moved up for kakko and lafreniere too. (The lafreniere draft being extra lucky due to the double draft they did. Have them a 12.5% chance at winning) Talk about favorable.
