The Devs will have some cap management decisions to make at some point (maybe starting this summer if they're thinking longer term). In addition to the goalie situation, the extent to which they make good decisions re: the cap and roster will determine if they take the required steps to get to Cup caliber. It would also be good for them to advance past the NYR this playoffs and play against teams like the NYI, TBL or BOS. The NYR are too similar to them and not a good benchmark for what it takes to win in the playoffs.
