Best part of last night was watching the Rags-Sabres shootout.

Sabres have a lot of talent. Levi is looking pretty good so far in goal and if he pans out then they should make the playoffs next season. With Dahlin and Power on the back end along with Thompson, Tuch, Cozens and even Skinner their future is bright.

Too bad we have the wrong Thompson.

I remember people hoping the Isles wouldn't take Thompson because of that connection. Whoops.

I remember thinking the same thing in 2003 , that it was set up perfect for us to take Parise with the connection to his father, but we took Nillson instead. Finally got him but it was over 18 years later. So if history repeats maybe we will get Tage around 2034.
