Every time I get used to one of your f***ing names on here...He uses a curved stick to move the rubber disk up and down the ice

Someone's finally happy hereWAIT..We got Lafreniere!!
Wooooooooo!!!!!!
eOn a scale from the square root of -1 to π, rank this player in the following categories
I wish I was as good at anything as he is good at making really puzzling stances...and I'm being as nice as I can be without going into cardiac arrestCelebration thread here and he's gotta bring up Boo Nieves
I almost hucked my phone
I know, I forget which one it was, but there was one name change where I didn't realize it was you for like 4+ monthsI’m a shapeshifter
Born just 2 days from his death tooThats weird
Yep Rangers got lucky.I think it's beyond time we stop with the "they deserved this" and "Gorton is doing SUCH a good job" nonsense. How f***ing hard is it to be a GM when you get gifted back to back franchise players you did not under any circumstances deserve?
For having such a great product, the NHL is the absolute worst sports league around.
Explain Lafreniere like I’m 5
have to say i like the username...Click on your username, then click personal details, then it should be on that screen

If you're going to argue that the Wings deserve the top pick for putting a historically shitty team on the ice, we're going to disagree.
He was actually really able to show off that ability in the play-in games against Carolina where he would create space for himself with the puck in the offensive zone; it was very encouraging to see.kakko's straight line speed is a weakness (although that is most fixable) but his agility and ability to turn on a dime is tremendous, especially for a kid that will have a power forward body.
Yeah, winning the lottery doesn't take skill, it's entirely luck. But positioning the team to make the most of it's position whether they get lucky or not is what the GMs actual job isI almost agree w him except we also took kravt, Miller, Nils, Igor, etc. He's been building a great pipeline and our franchise has frequently had literal life ending bar luck with top talent so it really does feel like it's our time
Odo that you? I am almost finished with my DS9 run...I’m a shapeshifter
Whenever I’ve seen Laf he looks a lot faster than people say, I don’t want people thinking he’s going to look as slow as Kakko did his rookie season lolAll-around offensive forward who holds onto the puck like a magnet, is incredibly difficult to seperate from the puck and who creates dangerous scoring chances whenever he's on the ice. Doesn't have blazing speed, but is really difficult to contain and catch because he sees the ice like he has a bird's eye view.
He sets the tone from the beginning of the game and dictates the pace of the game he plays in. I think he'll be a guy whose goal stat line translates almost exactly to the NHL (30-40 goals), but his true impact will be how he elevates everyone around him. He has 100+ point potential.
Could be this team's captain sooner rather than later.
Responsible defensively, incredibly competitive, doesn't get intimidated at all, and has a sneaky physical side to him. He wants the puck with the game on the line, but he doesn't have to be the one to score the game winner.
Well thank the Edmonton Oilers for thatNah no one deserves anything. But considering parity, and ensuring teams aren't bad for long periods of time, is the league's goal...then giving 3 picks away in the lottery is counter intuitive.
I clicked the wrong thread in the "trending" section.
