2) Strome
3) Buchnevich
4) DeAngelo if the return is high enough
5) Another Defensive Prospect in the system
6) Georgiev
7) Lias Andersson

All that in some combination should be able to fetch a pretty nice under-25 center or move up in this draft to get Lundell.

And your framework is still

Panarin - Zibanejad - Kakko
Lafreniere - acquired center - Kravtsov
Kreider - Chytil - Gauthier
Lemieux - Barron - who cares

I think those cannot be completely ruled out. I also think you can't completely rule out Ottawa as a trade partner.

But again, before everyone loses their mind, I want to emphasize that I would say possibility is relatively small --- as in a 20 percent chance or less.

I'm not saying they should trade either of them for a center, I'm saying I'd prefer to not hamper a players effectiveness by having them play out of position and if it's down to that or trade them, I trade them for a center of similar caliber

Them winning Lafreniere all but seals the deal for me that Buchnevich will be gone soon

I'm still thinking about how to get Lundell.

Not impossible depending on how Draft unfolds. Zegras last year was very hard to trade up for but as deep as this draft is maybe Lundell could drop. Who would be that trading partner in the top 11-15 range tho? Maybe a team like Nashville would be interested in some kind of package including our skjei pick.
