Yeah, I'd honestly rather trade either Kravtsov or Kakko for a center than force them into the positionThe rangers are better off using their multitude of assets to go get a center.

imagine having centers good at faceoffs and defenseThe rangers are better off using their multitude of assets to go get a center.

He isn't, that's the problemWhy dismiss Kravtsov at pivot so fast?
He is a natural there.
Smaller than 20 percent like as in 12.5 percent?I think those cannot be completely ruled out. I also think you can't completely rule out Ottawa as a trade partner.
But again, before everyone loses their mind, I want to emphasize that I would say possibility is relatively small --- as in a 20 percent chance or less.

We could easily trade down to get him. Now, how do we trade up for Lundell?
They brought Kravtsov into the bubble with them, some bad taste huh?Kravtsov is gone along with Lias. Team still has a bad taste IMO
Buch is gone. If I remember correctly, Gorton had him on his hitlist from 2 years ago. Upped his value some.
Other teams will have the same reservation. Neither would be worth too much imo - let them come back and raise their stock a littleKravtsov is gone along with Lias. Team still has a bad taste IMO

I'm not saying they should trade either of them for a center, I'm saying I'd prefer to not hamper a players effectiveness by having them play out of position and if it's down to that or trade them, I trade them for a center of similar caliberLol, that’s funny
Not impossible depending on how Draft unfolds. Zegras last year was very hard to trade up for but as deep as this draft is maybe Lundell could drop. Who would be that trading partner in the top 11-15 range tho? Maybe a team like Nashville would be interested in some kind of package including our skjei pick.I'm still thinking about how to get Lundell.

I've even things before that didn't taste good... and kept eatingThey brought Kravtsov into the bubble with them, some bad taste huh?
Ever heard of Doug Wickenheiser? When’s the last time a team didn’t take the consensus best player 1st overall?
2017 doesn’t count because it was a toss up
Folks...we almost got TOR 1OA
