Kreiders penalty was not the start we needed to have. Them scoring on the PP was not the start we needed. This game would might have been different had that not happened. Not sure though because Hank was bad tonight. He has plenty of company.

I must be the only one that thinks Moores hit should not get a suspension. It is almost exactly the same hit as Prust's. Prust was only suspended because it was late and there was an injury. Moore's hit was .5 seconds after he shot the puck, within the .6 second time limit. Also there is no injury. So if the NHL was fair, there would be no suspension. Since he is a Ranger, they are probably organizing a firing squad as we speak.

They have to shake this off and win at home. Hank has to be angry after this game and play like it. If we don't close them out in 6 we are in trouble.

I agree, if this ends up going to 7 this ride is over. Richards' streak will come to an end.

Funny, can't tell you how much I disagree with you and a few others who have said the same thing. Even if we somehow lost Game 6 at MSG which is NOT happening. But for chits and giggles let's say it does occur, with the Rangers stellar record in Game 7's over the past few years, with the best goalie on the planet and the simple fact other than tonight and maybe the 4-0 loss to Philly, we actually are a better road team than home team. Sure Habs would have momentum on their side if it got to Game 7 but this Ranger team is resilient as I've said hundreds of times and think we would have just as good a chance to win if not better than the Habs due to us having the King. I don't know, the Negative Nancy's in here need to get a grip. This is not the Ranger team that played the Caps in '09. This is not the same Ranger team that played the Devils in 2011 or same Ranger team that lost to the Bruins last year. This team is much much better.

Bottom line Nancy's...we aren't going to Game 7...we'll end it Thursday...

Prust was suspended. Should Moore be spared because he is a Ranger? That was not a good hit.

Prust should have got a lot more than 2 games. We'll see what Moore gets.

Fact that Stepan came back is immaterial. Broken jaw on a borderline deliberate attempt to injure.

Rangers were extraordinarily loose this game defensively, Lundqvist was awful, Talbot not much better, and they were chasing the Canadiens all night. But anyone who says the league doesn't want the Canadiens to win is wrong. Eight to three power plays in Game 4? With Montreal diving all over the place, too many men on the ice, stick fouls, etc.

Klein was the best dman on the ice tonight. All over the place.

He's a better skater than Girardi and Staal and he's very strong, Allows him to have an easier time with the Habs smaller forwards.

Girardi and Staal are just getting ****ted on by their quickness.

It's embarrassing.

Only thing is, this game wasn't a loss because of the refs. We played like ****.

Yep. We always look awful when we try to outscore teams. That is not our game. It's tight defense and the offense that results from our turnovers. We will lose every time we try and play completely wide open.

I am so embarrassed that we are up 3 to 2 with a chance to clinch at home. We suck!:sarcasm:

**** game. Henrik had a bad night. Rangers tie it up and then instead of getting a lift they let down.

Got nasty at the end. Bad hit by Moore. Funny over at the main board Habs fans are outraged. Their guy didn't even look injured. Prust hit = good to them and Moore's was an attempted murder. Moore's hit if late was just slight late. Prust's was very late. No injury this time.

Personally Moore and Weise should settle this next year. Weise fights but he's a **** fighter. I wouldn't be surprised if Moore kicked his ass.

He couldn't even stand up properly, maybe he'll wake up tomorrow and let the doctors know something's not right:sarcasm:

Their offense was alright, defense is another story.

this. Offense did what it needed to do. Defense not only went cold and left Talbot out to dry, but Hank left the defense out to dry as well. It's a team game, and 2 of the 3 require components for a solid team went cold tonight...

Like what was said, if Hagelin scores on that 2 on 1, this game goes in an entirely different direction for the better, no doubt. Tokarski got very, very lucky on that one, but good on him for getting in the way enough.

Klein was a ****ing monster tonight. All over the ice, pinching on the rush, stopping that possible empty netter (not impressive in itself, but considering the circumstances, still gave it his all).

Nash all over the place as well, making space and room to make plays. Very impressive, even scored a **** goal which started the comeback (that alone is impressive).

Stepan played great

Kreider played great

McD was good, not great.

Girardi CANNOT play on the power play... Period. not sure why AV sees that in him.

Staal looks like ****. Waits too long, holds onto the puck, turns it over. idk what is getting into him, but he's incredibly timid and scared on the puck. Seriously thinking that Klein-Diaz should be getting the 2nd pairing minutes while moving Staal back to the 3rd pairing with Diaz.

Moore is going to be suspended for 2 games no doubt, but I am *shocked* (should I actually be?) that they went back, reviewed it, then handed a 5 min major to the rangers... really? Step breaks his jaw and yet no penalty, and Prust only gets two games?
Either way, he's getting 2 himself. Stupid, stupid play by him. not sure what got into him, but that was unnecessary and Pejorative Slured on his end. Guy has so many tools, but is the dumbest person on the ice, even more than Pouliot

Pouliot played fine, but that oscar-worthy dive by Subban was just ridiculous. I cannot believe he too got away with it. Props to the ref however for catching Plekanec.

Hank is, unfortunately, the reason for this loss. He let in not 1, not 2, but 3 softies, even after the rangers came back quickly to tie it up after the 1st one. It's forgivable if he plays lights out next game, but in a clinching game, that is a huge no no. He HAS to get better.

Talbot was very cold, and not prepared at all for this game. He too had a .75 save percentage. Can't blame him, he hasn't played in over a month.

Lastly, the ****ing too-many-men penalties need to be called. This is the THIRD time MTL has gotten away with it in this series. League needs to get on that ASAP and start calling it. I'm not crying out for an equalizer. Fact is, that's a foul no matter how it's committed.

Just leave this here for Hank for Thursday.

Bourque on Lundqvist: "Everybody talks about how he’s a great goalie. Has he been than (Tokarski) this series? I don't think so."
