I really want to follow a good team for once. Even that 11-12 team was good but not great. Really tired of this ****. I'm emotionally spent with this team.

I was just think this, is anyone on this board an attorney? Is there anyway I can sue the Dolan's for mental anguish? Losses like this severely affect my ability to work effectively tomorrow.

But unlike this team I will still give 100%

Holy overreaction. 2 close losses in a row and

This fan base is a joke and overreacts to everything.

I guess one thing to hope for is that we turn it around just enough to get into the playoffs and since Nash will have gone 25 or so games without scoring it means he'll be primed for another 10 game scoring streak that propels us through the first two rounds at which point we lose our first...pick...****...

Yes, in my experience, the one thing that's always helps when things are going poorly is people freaking out.

Freaking out would, of course, be worse than being stoic -- but, as a fan, seeing a key member of your team seem so indifferent after another tough loss and poor individual effort is a turn off. I expect more from a professional hockey player.

Nash and Richards are really bad news. Those guys need to start playing with some fire. Richards is ridiculous for making those comments about Callahan.

Vignault keeps putting Richards and Nash out on the 1st PP unit despite Brassard, Pouliot and Zuke clearly being the better options there.

I think people are mostly disappointed with the effort than with the outcome. The lack of urgency this late in the season doesn't bode well -- especially considering how tight the standings are. Something needs to change. To clarify, I still think we'll make the playoffs, but we won't go far with these performances.

Yup Ryan Callahan, a player who broke 50 points once, is now a young ppg highly skilled physical forward. MSL is old. Terrible trade

Callahan priced himself out. But that doesn't make the trade good. A GM in touch with his club would have recognized the major flaws in his roster and not sacrifice the futures he did for a blind shot in the dark at a Cup he has no chance of winning.

The smart thing would have been moving crap contracts, add some younger pieces to suppliment the core. Build. And when the team is ready add the "missing piece".

How can Stm Louis be the missing piece, when there are huge holes in the roster.

If we had the #1 center, offensive defenseman, and size on the wings, then MAYBE Stm Louis would have been a missing piece.

This team is soft. Soft physically. Soft mentally. No leadership. No identity. No direction. Management is out of touch with reality.

Not a good situation. Dangerously close to slipping into another 98-04 dark age.

Well, hopefully AV kicks this team's ass at practice. So listless.

LOL, NOT HAPPENING.

Keep dreaming, Jon. He's far too bland for that. This guy's demeanor sucks in every damn way.

You can say that about every coach's system before they win their first Cup.

What is even the point of this post???

The guy has been around for years and has had pretty deep team for most of his tenure in this league and has NOTHING to show for it.

On top of that, his demeanor is awful and it seems like he just doesn't give a flying **** about his players mailing it in on nights like these. Absolutely ******* efforts against Carolina and Minnesota, making Cam Ward and Darcy Kuemper look like ELITE goaltenders.

This is a joke, if you think this kind of crap and AV's demeanor is acceptable, well then good for you. I, for one, don't and this idiot needs to go. His soft perimeter style uptempo hockey just doesn't win. Maybe in a non-checking roller hockey league, but not the NHL.

Maybe it's me but kreider and zucc are the only two top 9 guys that I enjoy watching.

Beaver needs to go

Nash needs to lower his zoloft dosage

Sather needs to **** off

But I read a couple pages back that the Zucc line was a complete disaster.

I've thought about it and honestly am thinking about giving this team a few more years before I move out of NYC. I've always waited around and scheduled everything around this team and playoffs. It's exhausting. I was too young to remember 94. If they ever make the SCF, I'll buy tickets on the secondary and just fly back. But spending the thousands I do a year on season plans and merch and foregoing events to watch this team play is getting exhausting.

I know, it seems like a personal choice to the outside world, but when you're raised on a team, it's in your blood. But I'm really getting just tired.

This fan base is extremely loyal. While there are disagreements and fights, everyone wants the same thing, for them to win. It's exhausting being a fan of this team. Many things are said tounge in cheek.

After 10 years of disaster and 10 years of complete and utter mediocrity, I think this fan base has earned the right to overreact. Especially when the team is re-shaped year after year after year with absolutely no continuity or results, outside of Henrik.

Missed out on Lindy Ruff and Peter Laviolette is out there.

If there is a god, AV will get fired and the Rangers will hire Laviolette.

Please, someone important see this and help.

I loved it....until I found out there was the Sharks offer...

Teflon Sather

What was the Sharks offer?

It's just weird, it seems like MSL is the perfect fit for this team. Great possession player replacing a mediocre one on a great possession team. Now the team is not even a good possession team. It just defies all logic.

No coach is going to make this team a winner.

AV is a fine coach. I think he's actually very good. This roster is extremely flawed. We are weak as **** down the middle, which all but guarantees you a non-stanley cup finish and we have no strength within our size.

When you have no toughness and no high end centers, you are never going tow in a cup. Literally, EVER.

Callahan is doing things in Tampa he was doing when he was on his best games as a Ranger. Did you ever think that maybe the contract or trade rumors were on his mind? He knew a trade was not going to happen before the Olympic break and played some excellent games before that, was a beast in the Olympics, and since he has been traded, he has been back to his old self.

If you watch the games like I do, you'll see he is hitting hard, crashing the net, and creating a lot of offense. The guy is getting a lot of support from Tampa fans, and I just don't understand why Ranger fans still have to be bitter even after he is gone.

Fan base to me was crazy to even become bitter on Ryan Callahan who worked hard so many years for this team and wanted a pay day like everyone else. In the end it was the not the money but job security.

That goal from his was bittersweet, and MSG could not stop talking about it, because they know it was also.

You don't realize how many fans are upset over this, and maybe you need to see the bigger picture of things and listen to all the facts.

But I read a couple pages back that the Zucc line was a complete disaster.

I don't know about that but I do know that Zuke has been our best player on the PP for most of the season and has somehow found himself on the 2nd unit recently. Richards and Nash really don't know what they're doing on the power play. Nash has reverted back to the perimeter player he was after the concussion. Terrified to go near the crease.

That sounds about right. I thought that, with MSL on his wing, Richards would make a compelling case for management to not buy him out. Excessive optimism on my part it seems.

If we don't buy out Richards, the very tiny sliver of hope I have left in this team, will all but be destroyed.

Which ways, specifically?

- Never any emotion.
- After a loss, "oh we just have to play better next game."
- The ref makes a terrible call, no emotion, no fire. Smiles and laughs with him.
- No accountability for the piss awful efforts they've put forth recently.
- Never see any such sort of fire from this guy what so ever no matter how bad the situation is.

We went from one polar end of the spectrum to the other.
