It's the same story every game-the Kings lead in shots, are behind on the score board. Just so boring and the coach does not make any in game adjustments. 1 strategy, 1 method of handing out ice time, live and die with it, mostly die.

His goal total this year wouldn't have been known last summer when everyone ripped Lombardi for signing a guy coming off 9 goals in a full season. He barely had as many goals over the previous 3 seasons combined than he has this year. I'm just guessing that wouldn't have gone over well, without knowing he'd have almost 30 goals. Without even knowing he had the potential to have almost 30. There was no reason to think he'd have a huge bounce back season at the age of 29, after having done basically nothing for 4 or 5 years.

Not quite what you're talking about, but they're 27th in 1st period goals, and 28th in 2nd period goals, so they probably haven't scored a lot after 20 and after 40.
 
Seriously, I can't remember a team so inept at finishing around the net. Even Andy Murray teams could score better, and they sucked!
 
Yeah those numbers I was aware of. Just shows how often this team has to play from behind. But they keep reiterating how they have to "stick with the system." It's clearly working out for them.

Brodzinski looks good, hopefully will look better when the nerves let up a bit. Everything coming off his stick are rockets, even the passes lol
