Don't see the value in buying Gaborik out. The savings aren't nearly enough. Keep him, hope he can get to 15, and then hope he's supplemented on offense by cheaper contracts like Kempe and/or Brodzinski over a full season.

One of these days I want to run a tally of how many times the Kings have not scored a goal after 20 mins and after 40 mins.

Is there any site that tracks this? They are so offensively inept, I wouldn't be surprised if they led the league in scoreless first and second periods.
