Philly’s defensive front might actually kill Howell next week. It’s going to be biblical.

Orrrrr, hear me out, this is going to be radical. Maybe, they could make a game plan to run the ball a lot and throw short, quick timing passes, instead of 7 step drops looking for the deep ball on every play. I know, I know, its never been tried before, but this sort of play calling adjustment just might help Sam to stay alive for more than 2 series. /S

Its almost like EB has no idea that his OL sucks and his QB is still basically a fresh rookie. They continue to call plays that give SH no help at all and ask him to do way too much under too much pressure. I mean seriously, EB, everyone can see it, there's too much pressure and he doesn't react very well to pressure (no QB does but a green youngster especially).

PHI are the best in the league vs the run at <50yds given up per game so far.

Hard to run behind a sucky OL against the best run defense in the league.

PHI have one of the worst pass defenses in the league so far.

They're going to have to throw the ball. SH just has to read quickly and get the ball out quickly.

Missed on Mayfield and by 2 yards in the RB. if the Bucs sniff some decent offense that was a win….ahh well….win some, lose more lol!
How much do you put on those parlays? Got a buddy that will put 1 or 2 bucks, sometimes 50 cents on the most ridiculous 10+ leggers with crazy odds. He's like whatever it's just 2 dollars, lmao...the epitome of "this might hit". Yours was solid though, very close

Starting the season, no one thought we were going to beat the Bills the Eagles. 2-2 was best case. And we can still beat Philly because that’s how this division works

Believe it or not we've won 2 of the last 3 in Philly

Since about 2006 it's been close to coin flip in terms of W/L. The 90s and early 2000s were not good times in PHI.

A lot of that is by play design and play calling. I think the point that EB can help his young QB who's playing behind a leaky OL, is indisputable. Philly may be the best run defense because they've had a lead early on. They may have a bad pass defense because they are playing prevent late in games when teams are throwing every down - this early stats like that can be deceiving. We've got a good running game, we just don't use it properly, that's on EB. We have to try to do something different than that abortion against Buffalo. That game plan stunk.

5-10…I play 3 or 4 pick parlays mostly. I don’t do those lottery 10-teamers anymore…

PHI defense is giving up 4th best yds/ run attempt in the league and 2nd best 1st downs. It's true they've had the 2nd fewest rushing attempts against per game but they're still good so far.

There would not have been much of a score effect in WK1 vs NE as that was close at the half. Elliot and Stephenson combined for 19 carries and 56yds. But Mac Jones did pass over 50 times even though the game was pretty close.

Cousins passed a lot in the 2nd half of the MIN game after PHI broke it open with 2 quick TDs in the 3rd Q, and Mattison only carried 8 times.

There was still 17 rush attempts in the TB game with White only gaining 38yds on 14 attempts.

It's also possible teams are just abandoning the run because their top RBs are getting 3yds or less per carry.

Point being just running the ball probably isn't going to break things wide open, unless the OL can create some holes and force the safeties to play up.

In baseball, speed never goes through a cold spell
basketball, defense travels
football ... game is won in the trenches (?)

How did our vaunted DL go MIA? First half I thought the D played well enough, forcing Bills to make big plays to keep drives alive and the Bills did.

I thought our DL would be a factor every week. Talent like that doesnt take a day off. Our DL effect can be muted but OCs will have to completely adjust their whole scheme to try.

0 sacks
1 QB hit

All game.

I dont remember the Bills doing max protects or anything special.

How the f*** did the Bills OL shut us down?

On one drive, the Bills ran the ball 9 times in a row ending in a Tuddy.

The DL, like all talent in this D, is used f***ing terribly. Every single play is just straight ahead for them. No disguising where they're going, practically no stunts. Just straight ahead. There's zero mystery. These guys will engage whatever is in front of them. And the coaches expect that to win and work; it's the easiest thing to plan against and counter at this level. These guys are good or very good, but for that to work you need a line made of mutant alien freaks. Worse talent levels at DL have been producing better results because their DCs aren't JDR. These coaches neutralize what they have and somehow we have never even heard that they are on the hot seat. It's been more than long enough that, with the way this is trending, JDR should be fired from above very very soon. He's wasting ownerships money.

Davis is ass at pass coverage. He's pretty good at engaging carriers. That dude should be sent as an additional rusher all the time. Give them something to think about. Be tricky, bring Davis, and suddenly those escape routes are sealed and the nonstop pressures can turn into something. This coaching staff is lazy as hell. I've been shouting about this since last year. I'm over it.

Meanwhile, EB covered himself with shit too. Can anyone tell me what they adjusted? They've done the same things all game long. This line can't pass protect, and the QB is too young to help them much. Call runs. Call quicker plays. Help the guy by design, or he's gonna be turned into wet dust. He's being hit so much that he will develop PTSD instead of QB skills, and he's going to be physically destroyed.

It's just such an enormous and unlikely coincidence that this supposed Native American group was founded right here. In Snyder's backyard. Right when he was fighting to keep the name. And their only mission is exactly that. And now they pop right back up now of all times, right on track to be an act of revenge from Dan, who is among the most petty, spiteful, and shameless people alive.

Had never even heard of them until recently. See people on twitter pushing their polls/petitions/press releases

It's goofy. Credible media have largely ignored them for close to a decade because they're obvious frauds and the links to Snyder were uncovered quickly; the ones they could find, at least.

But for whatever reason, the Murdoch outrage factory has started pushing it. Probably related to NAGA's website and PR being managed by aforementioned lobbyists with Fox News connections. And now multiple outlets that know better are idiotically and uncritically parroting NAGA and reporting on it. Probably because their own 24hr news machines are desperate for anything, too. It's a dumb exercise in how misinformation gets propagated.

Who's the better QB?

Oh I know. And I fully think his treatment was disgraceful BS. Especially as we have watched Mariota and Zach Wilson have steady employment. But it's been approximately 1 Sports Geologic Era since he last played.

Deshaun Watson is having a hell of a time after his layoff. Vick was similarly never the same, again after a far shorter layoff.

At this moment I’m not picking the guy who has been out of the league for 7 years over the guy who was in the league last year…
that's fair enough, but let's not pretend it was always on merit

I'd at least give him a shot on the practice squad. If he's truly as bad as a 7 year layoff would indicate then it'd be obvious to everyone who watched him in practice.
I think a simple workout would be all that’s needed…

Wait. That was going over my head because I was ignoring the link. You're lying to me right? You made a fake ESPN link right? Even the Jets can't be this Jetty.
