You know they are going to do nothing but run and they still shove it down your throats. Pretty pathetic.

Rivera just letting the clock run down. Don’t you think Howell can use all the reps he can get?

It's all just game tape to impress the next coach. I honestly believe we got a steal in Howell.

They literally took some 7 min off the clock with all runs, ending in a TD. Hard to judge Payne and Allen with the garbage schemes and linebackers, but at the moment their play does not match their contracts.

I’m not advocating for firing Ron but they haven’t been competitive (or even close to competitive) in three weeks and their only win over the past seven weeks is a three point victory over New England who are 2-10 and may pick 1OA this year. A big test of patience for the new ownership group.

I wonder what informative tweet we’ll get from Magic after this one. Maybe something like, “The Dolphins scored more points and were a better team today than my Commanders.”

I hope you’re right. I see a guy who doesn’t go through progressions quickly enough and who doesn’t move effectively within the pocket. Yes he will escape at times and have a nice run, but I mean the slide up, slide left, slide right while keeping his eyes down field. He puts his head down and more times than not runs into a defender, usually to his right. Occasionally he guesses right and escapes.

I really don't think you understand why people, including the owner himself, have said they shouldn't make the move mid season. It has nothing to do with results down the stretch, or with how "deserving" RR is. Or maybe you understand but don't agree with it, but there are very clear and valid reasons for this approach.

I understand perfectly that it is possibly valid…possibly a very poor ownership move right out of the gate. I vehemently disagree with continuing this farce.

I just find it hilarious that Lavi had a witch hunt after him for a year yet cancer survivor RR gets all the rope to drive this franchise into the ground before he leaves.

Ask Jonathan Allen if the results down the stretch matter.

They’re mailing it in just like the HC…..if Ownership doesn’t care, then f it….mail it in boys.

Fire alarm at FedEx. Apparently a false alarm.

Is there a facility failure there after every game?

While I think Howell has some role in it, it’s also clear to me from replays that guys are not getting open. Dotson and Mclauren are getting zero separation. Hard to know if it’s an EB thing or are our receivers that mediocre.

Stop polishing the SECs balls….f them.

Is this the graceful finish those who wanted to keep the honorable RR for the year hoped for?

What an embarrassment…..
'Tis the season for shiny ballz!
Those SIX top 25 (three top 10) sure do sparkle!
:D

*checks notes*
That would be a "yes"

I think the idea that this season was ever about the final result was misguided. Once they traded Sweat and Young it was obvious they had thrown in the towel on results this season. The rest of the year from that point was simply about evaluating individual players to see who was going to be part of the future. It still is.

The ownership isn't focusing on this seasons results. They are focusing on building something long term, and higher draft picks help with that. They also understand, unlike it would seem a lot of fans, that how you treat coaches and staff makes a difference in who you get to hire in the future. If you want your pick of the best and brightest minds, and ask them to turn around 20+ years of abject failure, you better demonstrate that you have some patience, and are not a quick trigger type of owner. Dan Snyder demonstrated who he was early on, and he was left hiring bums who weren't likely to get any other offers. I for one and glad that this ownership isn't making any of the impetulant mistakes of the previous owners. They're setting up for a long term, not demanding immediate gratification.

You learn just as much about players character in down times as you do in good times. If Jon Allen is maling it in after collecting a fat contract, maybe he's not the leader the old regime thought he was?

Also, the idea that people are giving RR rope is misguided. Its 100% unanimous that he should be fired. THe only question is when, not if.

I was disgusted at the end of the Dallas game, furious -- and drunk. And while I wanted all the coaches to be heaved into a pile and lit on fire, I am satisfied with Del Rio's and the DB coach's head for now. I think Ron is a shit HC and we're better off without him -- but I also see the logic of the new OG establishing its bona fides as a group that a prospective new coach (and GM) would want to work for.
I absolutely feel for the players -- they're the reason part of me still screams "dump his ass" with every new humiliation. Those guys don't deserve to walk out of the locker room every week at a massive disadvantage just because of who's on the sideline. But they'll fight through it -- or they won't. And either way, they'll tell the new OG what they need to know.
Meanwhile, every loss leads us to a brighter future. All we have to do is not f**k it up.

We are not the most miserable fans in the league today.

Steelers fans at the stadium today still have 8min to play in a 1pm start game due to several severe weather delays, in a contest that saw them lose their QB1 to injury, and top defensive player in Watt also hurt and TBD on status. All while being blown out by the 2 win Cardinals, who are featuring a former Steeler RB in Connor who has them for 2TDs already today. Miserable. Waive the white flag instead of the Nasty Napkin.

Then there's the Pats fan who lost 6-0 at home in the throwback unis. They also saw a star player taken off the field in their RB1 Stevenson, who imo probably has some kind of knee damage.

On the other side of that game are the LAC who only managed a pathetic 6 points against the wretched Patriots who may or may not be tanking for a replacement QB.

Titans fans lost Henry to injury as well as their punter before blowing it in OT to the Colts.

Houston lost their star rookie WR Dell to a broken leg.

The Saints and Jets are operating on the 3=0 quarterback theory, made somehow worse by Carr being knocked out of the game.

The Browns are rolling with 10,000 years older than sand Joe Flacco.

Hail to the Burgundy and Gold tank

Never once said this season was about results (in the W/L column)….what a joke that would be….but hey you’re on a roll…keep going with your complete misread lol.

I love how a small segment of fans are saying we must stay the course or he’s just another Snyder….what a crock of steaming horseshit.

Its not, at all, but you're on a roll too. Bad owners make rash decisions, treat respected staff poorly, and make moves with short term emotion instead of long term impacts in mind. Period.

Maybe Josh Harris deserve more than one partial season before deciding he's doing it all wrong. Your impatience is apparent. This was never a quick fix.

Firing RR is inevitable…stop letting him taint these players….

Again, never said this was a quick fix…you like to suggest things that people are thinking and miss quite a bit.

Commies sit at 4OA currently and are only a game behind the Cards for 3OA. The Cards and Bears play each other in two weeks which will be interesting to watch.

It’s not out of the picture that they pick 3OA. This could end up being a really successful season yet!
If we end up 3rd I find it hard to believe a new front office and new owner can resist taking their new franchise changing QB. Drake Maye might follow Howell again lol

As an aside…having the game on in the background, I don’t recall hearing young’s name mentioned once.
