If we can get the top tackle I dont know how we can pass. Marvin Harrison will be long gone if somehow we get him we pick and run.

Im guessing our top pick will be best 5 and worst 8

Yea, 2 (maybe 3) QBs, and Harrison will likely be taken before 5. So, if we’re there we should have a shot at either Fashanu or Alt. A top 5 pick on a franchise LT is absolutely worth it. If Sam is the guy, then use assets to protect him.

Now, if Harrison somehow falls to us, I don’t think you can pass on him. In general, I like the approach that Miami has taken with Tua on his cheap, rookie contract: Use assets to acquire crazy talent at WR (Waddle, Hill) to help him develop.

Terry and Dotson are fine. But, Terry doesn’t really seem like a clear #1 in today’s NFL. There seem to be many WRs (like Philly’s duo) that can just take over a game in the 4th quarter. Our guys have a lot of drops in key moments this season.

With all that cap space, they could trade for, or sign another dynamic weapon to help Sam.
I still think in a more stable situation terry could be a top 5-10 WR in the league. I wonder what they could get if they cut bait with him, especially if they were able to snag someone like harrison. A duo of harrison and dotson could be electric. We've seen flashes of dotson's potential this year and the younger this team gets the better

Aren’t we supposed to root against the Bears for that 2nd rounder?

Somehow we are rooting for the Bears to win and to lose. Which makes us feel like Bears fans somehow. But I'd rather be ahead of them in the 1st round and behind them in the 2nd round (their pick), as our 2nd rounder of our own will also be better if they keep winning.

Wait, I'm confused now. o_O

I dont think Dotson could make those tough first down catches Terry made last couple of weeks. I kow Terrys dropped a good bit as well this year.

Terry is not a top 5 WR but he is a stud and WR1.

Dotson to me is a WR2 at best. He will never be asked to make those hard in traffic, gotta have it slants over the middle. Dotson can run seams all day and put up 5/90 but hes not a cow bell do it all WR.

Terry = WR1
Dotson = WR2
^^ good WR room plus we can re-up Samuels or find his replacement in FA

Terry put up three 1,000 yard seasons in a row with Heinicke and Wentz of all people. Replace diggs, brown, lamb with him and guarantee he puts up their numbers if not better. He's easily been held back from his full potential on this team IMO

Yeah have to say I seem to have watched a bunch of terrible games. I have no idea why the football gods are blessing Philly after watching that game yesterday. They seem to get ridiculous breaks.

The Eagles are in for a rude wake-up call against SF this Sunday.

McLaurin is not a WR1 anymore. He doesn’t get open down the field nearly enough. He’s also never been a real touchdown maker. He’s devolved into a possession WR2. Not a terrible chip to have, but not a game breaking talent by any stretch.

Ben Johnson yes. Two old retreads, no thanks to Belichick and Harbaugh. They've got great track records, but not worth all the baggage they'd bring. And frankly Belichick without Brady isn't really a coveted track record at all.
