Damn….he’s cash flush….Colts still paying him $30+ mil through 2026….now he’s let go with 3 years left on his Carolina deal…..crazy.

Everyone who wanted Ron out now be lucky we don't have someone like Snyder / Tepper who fires people in less than a year.

Ron is gone but at the end of the year. Tepper is just a mess

Today is the 16th anniversary of Sean Taylor's passing. As a father, his death almost bothers me more now than it did when it first happened when I was in college when I think about all of the moments he and his family missed together. Such a shame to have this guy taken from his family, friends, and teammates way too soon.

Seems we might have a top 5 pick in a good QB draft .. and not pick a QB again. I like Sam. Pick a QB, dont pick a QB, I dont care ... its just funny. Just enough short term reasons to not go QB in a QB rich draft.

Cest la vie for redskins.

If they were picking top 2, or even 3, I'd seriously be torn as to whether or not they should go QB, and I like Sam a lot.

But there's no way either Caleb or Maye make it to 4 or 5, and there's no reason at all for them to reach for another QB -- or even take one with a trade-back 1st rounder.

Unlike CCR, I'd be happy with an OT pick in the top 5, but I would definitely prefer Fashanu -- who should be there at #4 if we can lose our way into that spot. Trent Williams was #4 OA and he's still a mauler after all these years -- and if we hadn't ****ed him over, he might still be ours.

I like Bowers a lot, but with the holes this team has, I would be pissed if they used a top 5-6 pick on a TE. I know he was a few picks later, but I don't want to live Kyle Pitts 2.0.

Kyle Pitts is Kyle Pitts because Arthur Smith is a terrible coach. They took Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson in consecutive drafts and all three are underachieving.

Washington could finish 3OA, especially if Rodgers comes back on Christmas Eve against Washington like they say he's planning to.
He better be a 10 year starter for us if they spend a top-5 pick.
You'd hope any player they take in the top five is a 10-year starter, regardless of position.

Bijan is on track now that’s for sure…

If they finish 3rd overall, watch us trade out of 3 and give the Giants a HOF QB. My worst damn fear lol….

If they land a top 5 or so and a QB is best available they'd better be shopping that pick to trade back and nab some serious additional picks.

Fashanu may be as guaranteed a 10-year starter as this draft contains. Have heard much buzz around J. Ogden comparisons -- eff yeah to that.

And if we gift NYG a franchise QB, so help me God, I will drive into town and slap a wino.

If we end up at 3 or 4, we most likely have our choice of Harrison or Fashanu. I'd be thrilled with either. And if some dumbass wants to pay us a ransom to move back a spot or 2 and it ends up costing us both, I'll live -- but it'll need to be a ransom.

Yea, 2 (maybe 3) QBs, and Harrison will likely be taken before 5. So, if we’re there we should have a shot at either Fashanu or Alt. A top 5 pick on a franchise LT is absolutely worth it. If Sam is the guy, then use assets to protect him.

Now, if Harrison somehow falls to us, I don’t think you can pass on him. In general, I like the approach that Miami has taken with Tua on his cheap, rookie contract: Use assets to acquire crazy talent at WR (Waddle, Hill) to help him develop.

Terry and Dotson are fine. But, Terry doesn’t really seem like a clear #1 in today’s NFL. There seem to be many WRs (like Philly’s duo) that can just take over a game in the 4th quarter. Our guys have a lot of drops in key moments this season.

With all that cap space, they could trade for, or sign another dynamic weapon to help Sam.

Agreed, the O could use a big-body WR with serious hands.

I think it's highly unlikely we'd up in position to get Harrison, but if there's a trade-back scenario that includes a second, late, 1st rounder, Brian Thomas Jr. from LSU would be a nice pick to provide that. If by some chance he slides to our first 2nd rounder, he'd be a no-brainer for me.
