Hard to say if not firing RR is out of respect for him or disdain for EB as a head coaching candidate in the wings.

It could be Harris is gearing up for the rumored big splash move.....the Hoodie
I really, really, REALLY hope it's not Belichik. Old retread is the safe path to the same mediocrity.

tired of hearing belichick rumors. they need to focus on a young OC.

all the good teams in the league have a young OC who's not a retread. SF with Shanahan Jr. Colts with Streichen, Eagles with Sirianni, Miami with McDaniel. A good offensive coordinator poached from elsewhere can do wonders here.

Hire a young OC that works analytics with a numbers-friendly front office...and we can really rebound very fast, plus the 90m+ in cap space.

I mean it just makes so much sense. It almost feels like now you can't just go straight to EB as the head coach because you didn't get to try him out and missed the chance.
I’m sorry but I have no idea how anyone can see Bieniemy’s performance this season as a play calling coordinator and want that guy as your head coach, even in an interim basis.

I have no issues with wanting Rivera gone but Bieniemy has done nothing to show he is even a competent play calling coordinator, much less a legitimate head coaching candidate.

Exactly why you want to try him out and let him sink or swim in a season that's already over for us. The only thing we've got to lose are draft positions. The national media will crucify us for not giving media darling always passed over EB and beloved Andy Reid disciple the coaching job next year when RR gets canned. I fear Harris and Magic are tremendously worried about ESPNs of the worlds opinions of the team. You let EB bomb out you've got no issues moving on with someone else.

Ben Johnson the Lions OC is a Tar Heel graduate.

Sam Howell the QB for the team is a Tar Heel graduate.

If ownership is going to let the media pick their football leadership this is all a moot point and we should all move on to doing something else with our spare time.

Every aspect of this organization is an embarrassment. They are going to rightfully completely clean house top to bottom after the season and nobody is going to say a word because it is 100% deserved.

I don’t get the EB love, on a national level? Is it because he was OC under very successful KC teams, with Mahomes at QB and other very good skill players with the walrus as HC, or are there other things in play?

What was he doing prior to that stars in alignment situation?

Now that I’m typing that…I’m having norvell flashbacks. Great OC under one of the most ideal offensive situations ever….crappy HC.

Joey Porter Jr looks so much better than Toast Forbes….
I’m not going to bury Forbes until I see him with a real coach but it’s looking like a terrible pick. But yeah Ron and Marty^2 look like they, unsurprisingly, have been awful their entire time here drafting. Look at the first four rounds of each of their four years and you have almost nothing. There is B Rob, Cosmi, Dotson, and Gibson who are average to solid players but then you have a bunch of nothing or question marks: Forbes, Mathis, Quan Martin, BSJ, Jamin Davis, Dyami Brown, Chase Young, Ricky Stromberg, AGG, etc.

Can’t wait to clean house and get football people in here who want talent instead of a military upbringing and positional flex.

Not burying Forbes….because we need him to be decently serviceable under new tutelage, but Porter looks daaaaaaaaaaamn good.

Well, sure -- if you want to judge a CB by his ability to actually cover...

I definitely do!
