RR has, what, 3 winning seasons in like 15 years?

He must have a really good bullshit game in owner meetings.

Nobody's getting fired before the T-giving game, but it's clear they're basically done so afterward is another story, especially if any players go to Harris and complain about yet another season playing out with no hope. Not sure anyone in the locker room turns on RR, though.

They got swept by the Giants who are 3-8 and barring a big upset, they’ll finish 0-6 against the NFCE. Nothing will surprise me in terms of what Harris chooses to do. Does Ron get shitcanned after Thanksgiving? They’ve got Dallas, a mini-bye, Miami, the real bye, and then they play LA. There’s a bunch of down time built into this schedule coming up if Harris and Co decide they can’t wait another two months.

JDR isn’t stopping the offense from scoring…..but he sucks yeah.
Agreed, hard to pin this one on the defense when the rest of the team turns it over 6 times.

But the amount of time the Giants converted on 3rd and long was demoralizing. And it wasn’t like they were making great plays to do it either. They routinely had guys wide open 20 yards down the field with the nearest defender barely in the TV picture. How does that happen over and over?

I don’t think they are doing anything on the coaching side until after the season.

They basically threw in the towel when they traded Sweat and Young away. If getting results this season mattered that much at that point in time you don’t do that.

Firing the coach after trading away both your starting defensive ends says schizophrenic ownership messaging to me and I don’t think Harris wants to give that impression so early in his tenure.

Yeah, I just wonder how much more they’re willing to tolerate. They’ll be 4-8 after losing likely in embarrassing fashion on Thanksgiving. Five games doesn’t sound like a lot but two months or so is a long time to fester with a lame duck coach and a frustrated locker room.

having seen that abomination in person and wasting half my day going to see that I have very little thoughts other than every loss drives them closer to a new regime.

WaPo game story most damning part:
“Their main plan seemed to be that they wanted to play man [coverage] and then let their D-line do what they do,” Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins said of the Commanders. “They had some success with the sacks and stuff, but playing man in the NFL for an entire game isn’t easy, and we got guys who can make plays. So we started doing that, and I didn’t really notice a counter. They stuck with their plan.
“. . . They play a lot of man, so for us we do a lot of meshes, trying to get some picks and make their defenders pick themselves for our receivers. They were kind of struggling with the meshes [and we] started calling them even more.
If JDR still has a job tomorrow, RR has given up completely and is giving the finger to the new OG and the fans -- maybe not by intent, but certainly in fact.
