That’s a fumble. What a stroke of luck.
One of Howell’s best attributes, accuracy, has been way off today.
That was a very catchable ball. Dotson is who he is. A mediocre WR and another Washington first round reach.Better ball and it’s a 1st down. Brutal.
Total team loss. They are what we thought they are. Bad team.
He should have caught it but a better ball and he does catch it. Bad loss. Countdown to house cleaning starts now. That was a very catchable ball. Dotson is who he is. A mediocre WR and another Washington first round reach.
Howell is running to his right, and throwing across his body. A perfect pass here would have been nice but a good receiver catches that. Dotson has shown me enough this year to see he’s a mediocre receiver at best. Propensity for drops and struggles to cleanly beat DBs unless schemed into being open.He should have caught it but a better ball and he does catch it. Bad loss. What have you seen from EB that suggests he is HC material? He can’t call a complete game on offense. You want to put him in charge of the whole team?Would they consider parting ways with RR/JDR in-season.…..Give EB the interim title for the rest of the season….let him audition….
Until the end of the season….they can tank just as easily with him in charge and they get to see how he handles things….if he fails, you can decide on a new direction. What have you seen from EB that suggests he is HC material? Keep RR for Howell’s development. RR is the reason the team ran more in the 2nd half. If EB was in charge he’d run Howell into the ground.Until the end of the season….they can tank just as easily with him in charge and they get to see how he handles things….if he fails, you can decide on a new direction.
Let me flip it around….why keep RR and JDR right now?
What have you seen from Ron over four years to suggest he is HC material? What have you seen from EB that suggests he is HC material? He can’t call a complete game on offense. You want to put him in charge of the whole team?
The offense is ranked 22nd in the league. That isn’t even top half of the league. And his play calling, defend that please. Or try. What have you seen from Ron over four years to suggest he is HC material?
Ron has had his shot. He’s failed. They’re at best — at best — the same as they were four years ago and he has had total say over everything over that time. They lost to two of the worst and most dysfunctional teams in the NFL the past three weeks.
The offense has been better than the defense as a whole and it’s EB’s first season with a 2nd year QB. Saying he hasn’t earned a shot over Ron is strange. The competitive part of this season is now over and as usual we can start looking at mock drafts by Halloween. Ron and Jack should be fired tomorrow and they should give EB a 10-game audition. If he stinks, so what? They stink as it is. Why wait another 10 games to play out the string? Maybe if they shitcan Ron and Jack the players have a little fire lit underneath them.
Let’s flip the question though: what does keeping Ron accomplish at this point?
He didn't say the O was great, he said they were slightly better than the D has beenThe offense is ranked 22nd in the league. That isn’t even top half of the league. And his play calling, defend that please. Or try.

Fire JDR to appease the hoard.
