Watch Howell’s eyes. They are always looking in one place.

Yeah, directly into the turf. Most of today's sacks have been instantaneous. When he has time to throw, he gets though his reads well.

He definitely has faults and things he needs to work on, but not getting off his first read isn't one of them.

Gee. Running the ball leads to a TD.

Screens. Runs. Rolling out for short throws. Things that can defeat pressure.

Why has it taken this long to call these? This shouldn't take a halftime thinktank. These are routine plays in the book EB can start calling whenever he wants. Does Ron himself ever walk over and suggest anything like that, I wonder? Or are EB and JDR just running wild.

Also on this front, I think you've posted something like this every game? It's game 7. We are well into "EB should have learned this by now." It shouldn't be a weekly epiphany. I've granted patience to see how he settles in and learns and adapts, but it's time he does so.

There has been two plays that have a better outcome if Sam turfs the ball near a receiver. First quarter throwaway where they picked up the flag (wrongly, he sailed it because the penalty kept the receiver closed, but whatever), and there.

Noticing a pattern of Howell throwing passes high.
That pass was 8 yards in front of Robinson.
He thought Robinson was going to run in that direction. That’s where judgement comes into play. Refs often let more obvious ones go.

Gibbs used to be the king of adjustments, with max protect packages. If you supposedly have good receivers then you don’t need to send 5 out. Give the QB more time.
