Completely agree and the exact same point I was making on here on Friday. I think a lot of people around here forget there are plenty of fans who have little to no social media presence and either like these, or don't care enough to go nuts over it and just want the latest and greatest.
EPS has confirmed with some jersey collectors who inquired that they are no longer contracted by the Devils organization to customize their on-ice jerseys. We are still trying to find out who is.
EPS can still do Reeboks and they can do the new Adidas jerseys, but judging by font used by the players on media day on Thursday, it looks like the lettering font is different. Instead of the nice bold font for the nameplate, it now resembles more of the skinnier font that has been used by NHL.com and Devils Den for years. This is why I am waiting to get an Adidas jersey as I rather send to the official customizer for that for accuracy's sake.

Because I agree Coke Zero tasted very similar to Coke (without the calories), but I think Coke Zero Sugar tastes like Coke with a massive lemon infusion. Coke's social media is lit-up with negative comments that reminds me a bit of the Coke vs New Coke debacle.

I do find it funny how most of you just brush off the fact that fans on social media hate it by saying "more then half the fan base isn't on social media." That's quite a reach you're all making there.

Every NHL team has the circle around it with the location at the top and the team name (i.e. Devils at the bottom).
The most ridiculous looking ones are the teams that already say their location and name in the logo, as it's just repeated in the circle (Capitals, Rangers, Stars, Islanders, Maple Leafs).

This just seems like simple mass production on their part for the practice jerseys.

The original comment was talking about people saying social media doesn't give a good representation of the overall fan base. I still think that's a fair statement.
This is absurd. Let's take out the fans with zero or very little social media presence. Devils Twitter has 578K followers. Even if you take 75% to account for bots, spam accounts, businesses, and others, that's still over 144K accounts that follow the Devils just on Twitter alone. Does this forum have 144K accounts or even 1% of the amount that comment on a frequent or semi-frequent basis?
