Your point stinks if thats what youre bringing up
lol I can't believe what people have said over changing one from one of the more generic templates in the league. it's a good template no doubt but so many teams have used it or a slightly modified version of it. it's not unique to the devils. and also this thread is wild def one to remember hahah. although I do hope if they change the jersey again after this I hope it's a redesign that is just meant to look good (not based on the Rockies for example) while also being unique in terms of design.
it's pretty generic, you can go anywhere QMJHL, WHL, USHL, etc. and see the same basic striping pattern. I'm not saying it doesn't look great because obviously that's why it's used so much but it's not something I really would mind them going away from either because so many teams have that sort of look and it would be nice to have a unique look. I wouldn't mind if they go back to the old style either or do something like this
Right. Just as hilarious as those who hate these are concluding Adidas only had a couple dozen for sale. We don't know either way. It will be clearer later this season, but for now this is what we have.
When virtually every team near "sells out" of something, you either have enormously strong demand, or limited availability. There is no third option.
Given the abundance of negative commentary across the NHL spectrum (i.e. not simply limited to the Devils), I dont think it's logical to conclude there was unprecedented demand. Therefore I think it's more logical to conclude that initial inventory was somewhat limited. Time will tell, but I'm pretty confident in that assumption. My 2¢.
Other than the black jersey I think these would've been great.it's pretty generic, you can go anywhere QMJHL, WHL, USHL, etc. and see the same basic striping pattern. That entirely depends on how you define "win." In no way do I see any of that as a win, either for the team or for the fans. The point is this whole topic has long past the silly waste of time threshold.
People are buying the new jerseies. This whole thing isn't going to affect ticket sales or TV ratings in the slightest. In two years they will either introduce a third or a redesigned jersey. They will claim they "listened to the fans" and all of you in here and will crow and fork over your money.
In the end the team wins, and you all got worked.
Coca Cola removed the swoosh on their cans. Now their is a ton of red space on the can and it looks dumb.
They have ruined their tradition, and no one should ever drink coke again.
Oh wait no because consumers still care about what the actual product is and not its wrapper.

Luckily for coke people are helplessly addicted to sugar/their product.

So if Exclusive Pro is no longer the official jersey customizer, then who is?
And do we know for sure if the letters/numbers are still the same layered style and font?
Can't believe this thread is still open. Do people really care that much that we're missing a stripe on our jerseys?
