I think what we need at this point is for @StevenToddIves to come in here and calm some of y'all down.
Curious why no to Wright?
Corey Pronman’s article basically boiled down to:Wright must have had a number of red flags which not only mtl, us Arizona passed on him and 2 out of three of those teams are center deprived
There's a railing next to her, so she's probably standing on stairs for some interviews. Yzerman towered over her. That 6’1 is probably generous, he didn’t look taller than Emily Kaplan and I don’t think she’s 6’1
Man there’s was lots of people who had Cooley over Wright and SlafkovskyMontreal passing him up is one thing but at least they did it for Slaf. Arizona might be one of the few franchises even more inept and loser-y than ours though.
Hmmm....Wright isn't the next McDavid, and us passing isn't THAT big of a snub
He's gonna be on a shittily run kraken team and while he's gonna be a pillar for them to build on, we already have our top 2Cs set
Where on the wing was he supposed to play anyway? (Serious q)

Sure. Why not?The next experiment like gelinas? Lolol
Really cause I didn’t see anyone having Wright drop below 2 before today.
No not many did but Cooley going ahead of him shouldn’t be that surprising.Really cause I didn’t see anyone having Wright drop below 2 before today.
Nazar is like 5'9" and was somehow towering over her too. Fun with perspective! There's a railing next to her, so she's probably standing on stairs for some interviews. Yzerman towered over her.
Ty Smith can’t skate, Nemec is an excellent skaterHope thos kid doenst turn into ty smith rhd version. His numbers are great, better than brandt clarke las year
Would love to find out what those so-called "Red flags" were.Wright must have had a number of red flags which not only mtl, us Arizona passed on him and 2 out of three of those teams are center deprived
hughes/nemec is going to be beastly in a few years. jesus
Sure, we can say his ceiling is that high. He could in theory reach that level given his skill set. Personally, though, I don’t think he will reach that level of play based on what I have seen from him, but that’s just me. I would love to be proven wrong in my assessment of the player. I don’t think his offense will be at a high enough level, nor his defense, to ever be considered a true top pairing defenseman. He has more than top pairing ceiling. The kid is an absolute stud.
That’s your opinion but most people in the hockey world disagree with you.Sure, we can say his ceiling is that high. He could in theory reach that level given his skill set. Tbh, I don't know.IIHF have hm at 6' 192 lbs, for the World Championship and Olympics.
That's a good think no?
I mean being 8th in ohl scoring in a extra watered down ohl would be oneWould love to find out what those so-called "Red flags" were.
Or maybe they just preferred other players to him and there were no red flags at all.
Whatever.
Congrats to Seattle Kraken fans, you lucked the ever F**K out in landing the #1 pick in the draft at #4.
I think he's lurking here right now and thinking "Nope."I think what we need at this point is for @StevenToddIves to come in here and calm some of y'all down.
Not when you’re comparing it to Slafkovsky’s production.I mean being 8th in ohl scoring in a extra watered down ohl would be one
