whatever, rangers have a really good team. but im scratching my head about them now.im with you guys, what is going on? trust me my betting wins over who i "like"
 
Kreider, Zucc, Vesey, Ryan Mc, Skjei all ded - can`t produce..

Smith still looks like he is on a wedding vacation at Hawai. David smurf D. still panic in own D zone - Devils exploited it and scored.

Nash scored on the 4th line - a good pass from smurf after 6 games of nothing - Fast rushed back - hopefully not injured next game.

A good summary - hopefully we see 4 different lines next game.

not really, devils arent terrible. and they havent been. bottom 10 team and they win the lottery. not like they were ever a bottom feeder. shows you dont have to tank with the new draft rules. as hard as it may be to grasp, im ok with the rangers at times. rangers are a good team.

Tanking won’t help, there’s no guarantees you win a lottery pick

The Flyers were supposed to get a pick in the early teens, and they ended winning the second. It’s all luck

I’m not ready to panic just yet. I think AV needs to go, but I don’t see that happening for the time being

If the team is still bad in the middle of November, then it’s time to panic. They should sell of replaceable pieces at the deadline though

Nash, Grabner etc. Should have moved Holden during the offseason, and Grabner at the last deadline. Their value is never gonna be as high as it was at those points

They’re good in the sense that they have good pieces. But they aren’t working together and the system isn’t working. That’s probably the two biggest issue points.

agreed, but they are still 4-1. honestly dont know what to make of it and come march i think the rangers will be ahead. just interesting to discuss why we are all where we are right now.

I think PDO may be a general guide. But there was a reason our shooting percentage was that high last year. We were creating a lot more high danger chances. I'd also love to see after 82 games how many bad teams DIDN'T have a bad PDO. I think poor PDO is sustainable and bad teams sustain it all the time.
 
I hate to torture you guys, but we need to listen what AV has to say after Rangers worst start since 1980?

 
Last year's team started out looking like the 1984 Oilers. They were mediocre the rest of the season.

The long layoff between the last preseason game to the opener hurt a little. Times arent desperate. There are 76 games left. No need to hit the panic button.

well at this point they are in a hole. i dont think they are wildcard at best. just get it together ffs. i really dont know what the cure will be but they will turn it around, coming from a you know who.

No I mean the Rangers are good and don’t work together lol. I was specially replying to the latter :laugh: I actually think NJ is a more cohesive unit. Those* guys want to stick and grow together and with the guys they got and some great suprises they are gojng to be competitive soon. I’ve been saying that a while now

But yeah. Rangers are a headless incohesive group is what I was saying.

Ours isn't poor, it's very, very bad. I included the first/last placed teams for 2016-17 to show the highest and lowest numbers over a full season.
