Called hat tricks never happen and you guys miss ones too, as in when Johnny Hockey single-handedly beat the Kings a couple of weeks back with a natural hat trick (and just missed a fourth goal).

I was there for all the glory of that ****ing game.

Doughty: "Assistant Captain" (w/ P. Kane) of Team Foligno at the All-Star Game. Sutter will coach Team Foligno. Lavy coaches Team Toews.

Foligno???

Foligno???

Makes sense. All star game is in Columbus. Playing to the home crowd.

I hope Sutter doesn't forget its an All Star game and put Doughty out there for 30 mins, although that'd be kinda funny...

Hammond just keeps getting funnier  I like him so much more now than as the Insider:

Hammond cracks me up every game. It looks like someone else is following Ron's example of bringing it everyday

Ha ha beat me to it. Just copied his tweet and saw you already posted it.

Hammond is much more humorous than I remember him from before. I guess he feels more free to speak his mind and his humor shines through.

Looks like no changes to #LAKings lines.

So Shore is still observing. I wonder when he'll get to practice with some wingers

Lombardi said that Jones will likely start in net tonight (coming off the shutout), but "with Darryl, you never know."

The Devils are an old team, no Jagr, 5th worst record and going nowhere quickly, and they have to travel across the country to play a 3 game set in California. If the Kings show up to play Kings hockey, they should win. It would be nice to see them start playing with some consistency and string a few wins together.

This is another one of those "should win" games. Let's hope the Kings know that. Cammi will be a threat, as usual. I'll miss seeing Yagr play though. He's always an interesting guy out there.

yep. I would be thrilled to have a two game 'streak' for the first time in eternity.

Last time we won two in a row was almost a month ago with that comeback vs. St. Louis then beating Arizona. Last time we won three in a row? Nov 15-18-20, Anaheim-Florida-Carolina.

So no Shore? That sucks. I guess he needs more practice with the team. Ride Jones. He's the hot hand and Quick is cold as ice. Cover all 5 men on Jon Favreau! Nobody else on the Devils can score so who cares about them, especially when Mick Jagr is out! No one else has moves like him. Moves like Mick Jagr.

Oh boy...

I'm just curious if they said "rather starve to death" or "death by dehydration" it would've blown over?

Re: Hammond

Hammond is much funnier when he has that awkward look on his face on TV. He might be the most awkward person I've ever seen in front of a camera.

"swim for it"

Didn't Fraser take over the captain role of the Kitchener Rangers from Mike Richards?

Yes, that sounds about right. He's been around a while, with a few different clubs. This year he didn't find a spot on an NHL roster and wound up back in the Devils' system on an AHL contract.

Big, smart, heavy hitter. Doesn't have the greatest hands or feet.

(Decent pickup in deep fantasy leagues that track hits, blocks, and +-.)
