Do you guys remember what it was like when Stoll was the #2 center in the team? They were an average hockey team, which is exactly what they are now. And that may be a compliment at this point.

I hate Sutter's don't get mad philosophy.

Don't buy it. I think he gives them hell in practice and in film sessions. He just doesn't yell and scream. Most of these guys don't need that type of coach. Those that do should pack their bags, because Dean won't be changing coaches again.

I think Dean is going to lose patience with a few of these players soon.

I think you misunderstand. He doesn't ever want the players to play mad. Doesn't help anything. That's why the Kings are never too high or too low.

We'll see Shore in the lineup the next game, and the Kings should roll:

Kopitar
Carter
Shore
Stoll

down the middle. Richards can move to the wing, and Andreoff can sit.

Why do I get the feeling that something has soured in the locker room and there may be a problem?

Ahhh, I see what you are saying. Yes, that is definitely one of this team's trademarks, never too high or too low. Generally, it has served them well over the long grind of the regular season, but they don't have the kind of talent on the blue line that they had in the past, so maybe a little more passion would help.

The Kings remind me of that book series Animorphs. They shape shift from a good team to a beer league squad in the blink of an eye.

Oh great, a goal.
