V's been shaky now what... 8-9 games now? Are we concerned?

No, not particularly. It's the most games he's ever started and he doesn't look bad per-say, just scrambles more than you'd like to see IMO. Schmid for example rarely looks to be out of position. Vanecek often times does but still gets the job done. VV is 5-2 in his last 7 starts but he's given up 3 or more in his last 4 so maybe a bit of uneasiness but I wouldn't say concerned.

Anyone else feel like the last few games it’s either one or the other who has a rough night from that Graves-Marino pairing?

It's usually not Marino.

But long term I'm not worried about that pairing. They've been solid together.

I worry about the bottom pair, but Bahl has looked good of late. Hope that continues.

Ah. The new schtick in Rags Land is us being lucky its 3 v 3 and that won’t happen in the playoffs.

They literally only have two less OT/SO wins than us…

They know we’re better and not by a little bit.

We’re also younger. That must really gnaw at them.

I don't think we played badly

Made one mistake in the 3rd period at the end and Vitek was fighting it and once again looked shaky.

He was flopping all around playing like Jonathan Quick on a couple of those goals.

We probably win this game 4-2 in regulation before Vitek's recent cooler.

I feel like, especially in the first, Arizona's offense was so choppy with poor passes/shots etc., that Vitek couldn't keep up with the back and forth. Like nothing was predictable - but not on purpose

Having Palat on his line and a speedy Boqvist will really have that line beasting on bottom pairing D.

We predicted that will happen and today it looked like exactly that.

We are not lucky in OT, we deserve to win in those situations. But there is a concern that we keep going there.

Vitek was a .908 goalie last year and a .908 goalie his first year. He was .910 going into this one. It would be hilarious if he finishes at exactly .908 again.

But yes, I am fairly concerned that he could blow a playoff series for us with how he’s playing.

He can't because Schmid will be in there. I have a good feeling about Schmid. Feel like he can be a #1 with some work on lateral movement.

We got the 2 points but the fact that we needed OT to beat this shitty team in this shitty building really pisses me off.

This is the type of game that has the pundits dismiss this team's chances in the playoffs.

They'll be all like "if they struggle to beat a Yotes team, they've got zero chance to go far against better teams....hurr hurr hurr".

Have to do better than that Bleed. FLA, NYb, BUF, WSH and the Senzzzzz are all making a big push. DET will figure it out and heat up again soon.

Unfortunately, so will the Rags, who would love to take 2nd in the Metro for themselves and maybe even make things interesting for a division win over Rawly.

Unfortunately it's looking like 100 points minimum will be needed again, possibly even 105, which many of the teams far behind us at the moment are capable of approaching by season's end.

Arizona isn't far off, their GM smoked the Chycurun trade but Keller, Cooley, Guenther, + whoever they take this year in the top 5-7 will be an amazing core to build with. If they get Bedard, they'll be deadly. I like Soderstrom a ton too on the back end

Arizona has beaten a ton of good teams, they're us from last year. They just don't have the goaltending or defense.
