Na Na Na Na is still one of my favorites on here. Simple, but still rocks.

Hearing Howl with the horn let it jump up a few spots. Considering its a local band, I can see that growing on me.

Hell Yeah sounds really good.

We should use this as the first list and start a poll on here.

Actually thinking about it more. I really liked Hell Yeah

I can't say I liked any on that list. Hate to say it but I might lean towards Jovi if I had to choose. Or maybe light em up. I dunno didn't like any of em.

Do you think they will try to pick a song where a chant cannot be incorporated? Cause u should know where that will lead.

I feel adding "you suck" to any song other than RRP2 is going to come off as second rate and stupid. Either use it for the song it was intended for or don't at all.

I think they'll switch the goal song back if fans continue to boo every single new suggestion. There's no way they're going to be alright with that type of reaction for Devils goals for very long. It sucks that we'll have to resort to that, but if we want the song switched back, that's what we have to do

Really? Their team nickname is related to hell. Also Hell's Bells is played in the arena.

Two different contexts. Not that I agree with it, but there's no way they encourage people to say "hell yeah" every time a goal is scored after they got rid of the former song because it had "suck." They just aren't going to do it.

Ahh Timmy!

My only concern with Hell Yeah is that if people were offended by You Suck, then the word Hell probably won't go over well either.

Yea unfortunately that is another can of worms that the organization opened up - determining what words are and aren't appropriate - I'm afraid for the day one of these imbeciles complains about the team name "Devils"

As others have mentioned, organization could have just said;
Given the inconsiderate acts the composer of the song has recently faced and despite us using another version of the song not produced by him, it is still associated with and recognized as being his. Taking our organizational values and beliefs of class and dignity among others into strong consideration, we do not wish to associate our organization with a somebody who has negatively impacted society.

Sincerely Lou, Hugh, and Scott

Done, that simple, people would have been understanding and accepted easier that the guy is a sicko and moved on

Let's be honest - most will (unfortunately).

Expect A-hole chants, about a dozen swallow chants, and pretty much the most vulgar, tense, loud environment you've ever been in Saturday aside from playoffs.

It's the perfect storm. Pissed of fans being disciplined for being profane AND the Rangers?

Devils weren't thinking.

maybe so, but I do have to give the Devils management credit for their honesty at the very least

now change it back anyway, no shame in admitting you made a mistake

Basically they're gonna act like Philly fans. Great. Now we fans are gonna get a reputation for being classless, whiny *******s.

It's funny how people are getting all up tight about a song when the name of our team is "Devils" and we're "scared" to us the word "hell"

How ironic is that

They were going to be honest either way whether it was because of Glitter or Fan complaints

Difference is it doesn't seem they considered the potential responses that each different option (if they even considered the Glitter option) would have brought

Now in hindsight, look at what they have created as a result and the backlash they are dealing with

They could have went with the Glitter option, created this submission process during pre-season and things would have went a bit more smooth

This is par for the course though, new ownership, same thrown together ****

I still think my choice is a great one... it might just need a sound tech on it a little bit

Its mindless and simple like Chelsea Dagger in Chicago and the Rangers goal song. It's catchy (all you really say is way-ohh), somewhat aggressive... and easy to remember. Only a minute long, too.

Just must be a little to rough around the edges for the masses

lol - the song actually could do the trick

your comment reminded me about a news story this week - where the drummer for Filter was prevented from eating at a restaurant because he has neck tattoos...maybe dress code is next at the Rock? :sarcasm:

Haha nah, its not the tatoos, not the mohawk, the shirt, or the everything else.

It's all of those things put together that make the perfect storm of ****** (EDIT: Woman sanitation product.)

If there was a new ****** movement, he would be their Gandhi.

I chose Pantera - Walk

Start at 1:14

****ING RIGHT !!!!!

Is that a actual choice and if so, why isn't everyone picking this song? This song should win hands down and I don't even know the other choices.

PANTERA ****ING RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULES :yo:

"Are you talking to me, ARE YOU TALKING TO MEEEE... Walk on home boy". That would be a sick corus to chant right there.
