Took my kids to the game yesterday. Not bad. :) But that goal song...I’m not even sure I have a good suggestion. Or is that song so bad that it’s good? Anyways...

Cum on Feel the Noise - Quiet Riot
Metal Health - Quiet Riot
Happy Happy Joy Joy - Ren and Stimpy

Feel free to add your own and/or critique mine. GLG.

The best ones are a good custom written one.

“OK Blue Jays” as an example.

Montreal has a fantastic one. 4 words. Hey. Go Habs Go. Everyone in stadium gets into it.

Rather than fans play DJ... let’s have a talented artist step up and do something original.

Based on our current goal song... they might as well use this:

That’s really funny you brought that up.

When I was watching the highlights from all those goals, I was like wow that’s a bad goal song.

I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to complain on a 8 goal night but yeah hearing it so much really showed how bad it is

Living on a prayer always seemed liked it suited this team. Plus, I mean, who doesnt like that song/Bon Jovi hits. I'd be happy with just about anything vs what we have now. I'd prefer the backstreet boys over Hall and Oates.

Everytime the Leafs lit the lamp yesterday my dreams were coming true....I say keep it as is.

I also couldn’t help but notice lots of young kids dancing in the stands to said goal song after every goal yesterday too...Go Leafs Go.

Merry Christmas everyone.

It really needs to be changed.

Find someone from Toronto, find something without falsetto. Go nextdoor and ask the Raptors; they get it. They always play local stuff.

During the playoffs against Boston their goal horn started to really annoy me. I feel like this goal song has the potential to have the same impact on others.

Now I do wonder if the music does actually annoy the players like it does to same fans. If it does then wouldn’t that be a good thing if it annoyed other teams players. Especially come playoffs.

Goal song is great. Not your typical goal song, kind of trolly. Plus its a great song in general.

My girls(15, 12) love it. They and my wife were singing and dancing with every goal.
Place was rocking , don't see the issue.

Chelsea Dagger and the Rangers song are by far the two best in the NHL and they have stood the test of time. To me, a goal song should piss off/rub in the faces of the opposing fans watching.

The thing I like about Hall and Oates and the two I mentioned above is they all have something repetitive about them which gets caught in your head. So did Zombie Nation. I think that is a critical element. Repeating Oooos or ohhhs or whoaaas or in the case of Chelsea Dagger do do do do do do do is key.

This is like weird. Do people really care about a goal song that much? It's cheezy and annoying. Now imagine how it must feel for the opposing team.
eep the song. This isn't even an issue.

If anything, I'd like to see the leafs address the empty platinum seats at the beginning of every period.

Adding on, if you're just going to sit and clap then it doesn't matter what the "goal song" is. Learn from Toronto FC supporters and European club supporter culture.

I mean they make darts seem interesting.
