I would hate losing such a talented player like Nylander. Treliving was right in saying that the biggest challenge for any team is to find Elite Talented players first and foremost.

You need generational talent first and then everything you can do later to fill out the roster. Top end talent is always hard to come by and we have loads of it.

Also, Any trade with Seattle needs to include Yanni Gourde for me

He's better than Giordano and is also has the grit/toughness that Treliving wants?

Idk ask Tre. He's the ome who's interested

Better than Giordano at what exactly?

Gio put up 24 points last year. Dumba put up 14. Gio is decent defensively. Dumba is well below average defensively.

Did you see the returns for Meier and PLD?

Start there. Pesce + 2nd is not even in the ballpark. Again
Some of these trades that have been proposed are seriously undermining Nylanders worth. It's absolutely comical and clearly shows how the "Larry Murphy" mentality is deeply rooted in some fans.

At least make these stupid trade proposals realistic.

No thanks. We're trying to win a cup, not rebuild.

We could ask for McCann back.

What is your expectation on a return for Nylander?

Oleksiak has some solid numbers in Seattle, would be an interesting acquisition and fits the Treliving mold

I'd want a forward along with him. Someone like a Gourde or Bjorkstrand, though the cap is tough for that kind of move

If you went with something like Bjorkstrand, Larsson and Wright + 2024 first for Nylander and Brodie, the cap would be fine... and I appreciate the comparison to the Hall/Larsson trade.. but we'd be getting back more of course.

I personally don't think Wright is going to end up a #1C, but I do believe he's going to be a #2C, and would have the benefit of developing with Tavares and Matthews mentoring him, in a relatively sheltered role.

Why would Frank Seravalli make up such a claim? Putting his career on the line this offseason for Gibson?

He also said lehner was done and had a massive injury. Which they denied and put him on the bench like weekend at Bernie’s

Only to have him done for a full year

Frank had some sources. His player valuations are too hot takey for an insider.

Nylander is probably heading on a path to be a 90-100 point player .

I'm not really into playing the trade game but if we knew that 10 NM list these trade proposals might look a little more realistic.

The PLD trade from the L.A Kings was a nice haul and I believe Nylander will get an even better return.

I don't feel that there is a lot of options out there right now, it's going to be a roller coaster ride for both parties.

Seems like Nylander will wait to see how much discount Matthews takes before he decides his future.

KO Sports is probably going to do some serious investigating internally now. Whose leaking this info from within KO.

at 27 he's probably only has another 2 or 3 season's before he starts to decline. I'm not saying he will be terrible in 2-3 years but his slow decline could certainly start by then

So turns out ROR just simply couldn’t hack it. Nothing to do with the coach or the room, simply just a lack of passion™️

At worst Frank may have overexaggerated the "won't play another game for them" part. I don't think he knows shit about what happens with the Leafs and too often just tries to stir the pot to get clicks from this market, but he's got other sources across the league. Great comeback by him.

He's already 27? Seems like yesterday that he was still playing with the Marlies and all that promise of Nylander, Matthews and Marner coming into the league. Makes me upset at the lack of playoff success for this group. (Gonna be sad if Nylander does get traded this offseason. That goal that took us to overtime was sooo nice!)
