Something better would need to come back to Hawks, or it would be rightfully blasted by Hawk fans and media as poor trade. We got a 2nd taking on Bailey to buy him out and he was alot cheaper in actual costs then Murray

Bailey salary = $3.5M
Murray = $6M



Hawks signed Tinordi to be vet LD depth guy since we will have at least 2 of Kaiser/Phillips/Vlasic/Roos on team next year most likely

If anything Hawks would be looking to add a LD to NHL roster

Kaiser jumped straight NCAA to NHL and looked solid. Hawks probably already have him penciled back on NHL roster unless he has disastrous start to NHL season playing with Murphy again on 2nd pairing
