I don’t think it’ll matter. He’ll clean up in recruiting. Dabo on steroids.

He’s got a sizable talent gap at Jackson State opposed his peers there. Even before Hunter he was reeling in recruits & transfers who otherwise would have never given Jackson State the time a day before. Kids who should be playing in the P5 (some couldn’t because of off the field issues).

So that’s my question. Can the guy actually coach/run a legitimate program?

I think the only limiting factor to Deion is his age. He's in his mid 50s. I think the Deion persona/character probably is much more known by parents of the kids he is recruiting than the actual recruits.
Deion was huge in the camp scene prior to jumping to the coaching ranks. These kids know him plenty well enough, and either way, who do you think these kids identify with more? Deon or the other mid 50 something coaches that are predominantly white?

If he can get good coordinators, I think he would do well. He'd be the face of the program and recruiting while everyone else does the X's and O's, like Dabo.

Texas A&M is gonna have to start doing more with these classes. They’re recruiting on par with Alabama, Georgia, & Ohio State (this cycle they’ll end up #1).
Jimbo still doesn't do enough at OL. To me, OL and QB is what separates the classes at this level. There's enough good DL, WR, and DB's out there, but the OL and QB are at a premium.

This was one of the more weirder ones today. He committed to South Carolina on Saturday. He seemingly swerved South Carolina & the recruiting industry for whatever reason. I guess crystal ball features on these recruiting sites for the most part kill the suspense these days. I don’t know if this was some plan to get around that or whatever.

Same high school but Penn State lost an 3* OL to Maryland today who committed back in summer under weird ass circumstances too.

@FLYguy3911. Which side of UF fandom are you on today?

The one hooraying the Kamari Wilson flip? Or the one that knows Billy is about to sign one of the worst transition classes in P5 history relative to expectation?
The class was f***ed regardless. Underwhelming class to begin with and a late coaching hire. I don’t have high hopes, but it’s wait and see mode. On to the transfer portal.
