Oregon really needs to stop bringing in graduate qb’s every season. Why the hell would a top high school recruit want to go there. The have a very highly ranked kid going into his second year....expecting to start. Now they bring in Nix. I know plenty of people in this neck of the woods that will lose their shit if the kid transfers now

Meh, it's not like Thompson is can't miss. Sucks for him, but if he transfers now, he won't end up at a program like Oregon. And the last thing a new coaching staff wants is to only have one unproven option at QB.

Edit: Lanning should have gone after Emory Jones though, imo. Better option with more upside.
