Yeah I was interested in Marion but the more I read up on Kotelnicki I think he has more track record to offer which I get why he was their #1 target.

The next step is getting some WR’s now which is looking like a pretty decent amount of talent on the market in the early going so far.

As of yet, he hasn’t shown enough to be a pro player. If he went that route, he’d be a practice squad or CFL player at best. The best way from him to elevate his standing for the future would have been to stay at WSU where he knew the players and system. This was not a bright move on his part.

Some of these guys are definitely shopping themselves around not just for fit but also NIL money & weighing it against going to the NFL.

I forgot to post it but Feldman specifically mentioned Michigan State as a team to watch for Dante Moore in his tweet (didn’t mention anybody else). It makes sense because Moore left UCLA because he got benched for Ethan Garbers as the season went on which in terms of trying to win games this year was the right call.

I don’t think Michigan State even has a scholarship QB on their roster currently after they all hit the portal this past week. So that’s one spot that would more than likely default him the starting spot.

Moore definitely is an upside play & a high one at this point but I don’t think he’s a plug & play guy. He really struggled once UCLA hit conference play.

I believe that Moore is from the Detroit area. Additionally his Mother is fighting back against cancer and looks to have beat it.

He is, he went to Martin Luther King HS which is known football talent producer in that area.

I mentioned Oregon (he was committed there before he flipped to UCLA) & Michigan but perhaps they could be looking for something more proven. Not saying they wouldn’t be interested in Moore but I’d imagine they might want more of a competition given they likely have higher team expectations for next year. Michigan State will clearly be in a transition type of year so they probably could give him that assurance more so than other programs.

Oregon is apparently interested in DJU for example. I guess Michigan still technically has to see what JJ will do on the chance he does return for whatever reason.
