The ACC will be fine because they have their deal locked in, it’s when that deal comes up will be the question. The PAC is crumbling. I suspect the ACC will be next.
The Big 12 will hold on for a while, but I guess we're headed towards two mega conferences and an eventual break away from the NCAA. Minor league football, baby!

The Pac 12 comes down to Oregon and Arizona, and I think moreso Oregon and Washington, because Washington will do whatever Oregon does.
That would depend on if the Big Ten comes after UNC and Virginia.I'd expect an ACC core to survive for basketball reasons but who the hell knows what happens for football.

Good to see Washington rowing is still carrying the loadWashington would do it regardless. They're much more old money than f***ing Oregon is, just less successful since the Uncle Phil era began.

I’m not originally from Oregon but I’m starting to understand why U of W has the reputation they do. Was actually trying to compliment the UW rowing program as its history is remarkableWe're still clinging to our natty from the year I graduated highschool. Maybe someday you'll be in a position to do the same!
I don't blame you if you don't remember those days, everyone in OR was a beavs fan then.
I don’t think they would leave and be an island, they would want someone to come with them.Washington would do it regardless. They're much more old money than f***ing Oregon is, just less successful since the Uncle Phil era began.
ACC also has their media rights deal in place for a while. It’s just not very good because it was done in 2019 and thus first and goes to 2036.It’s not the media rights deal that’s key for the ACC. Now that the true tectonic plates of CFB are moving, the question is what it costs Clemson and Florida St to get out of the Grant of Rights and how they weigh up potentially being left out.
The 120 MM number that keeps getting thrown out DOES NOT include the Grant of Rights. From Feb, when we got confirmation that Florida St asked: ESPN reporter reveals potential cost of Florida State leaving the ACC

Florida St just keeps kicking everything in sight.
We’re talking about a sum that could easily be in the 400-500MM range to completely extricate themselves from the ACC.
And yet they still can't sniff a National Championship.Big 10 says all your teams are ours.
was definitely joking. When it comes to Oregon/UW football Im just a bystander though I will root for the ducks. I’ve got a buddy that hates W though and I was channeling his feelings.... like you eluded to with your friends. Not in a million years would I have guessed you were being serious.
My pals and coworkers from Portland and I give each other (good natured) crap about these two teams regularly, seeing a comment about rowing of all things I figured you were talking smack like they do. My bad if you were serious. We can still agree on the Winterhawks right?
