Have to imagine "a bag" wouldn't matter to him. Not every top college athlete is in the same position, but I'm fairly certain money shouldn't be a factor in Marvin Harrison Jr's decision on where he plays. He has the privilege to truly pick where he wants to play best on what he wants. To me, that would be the environment that is going to give me the best chance to win, the best chance to get me to the next level (which he already has locked), the place that is going to help me progress my skills the most, and the place I feel I belong.

Other people are most likely in the position where "secure the bag now" trumps those other factors. Harrison is luckily enough that it doesn't need to be a factor.

Money wouldn’t the only factor they’re selling. Obviously having Caleb Williams returning & Riley’s offensive reputation would be factors too if this did happen.

Fwiw I don’t think it actually happens but I don’t doubt USC is tampering with him. They did the same thing with Jordan Addison last year.

Apparently got a pretty good NIL deal.

To me this is what NIL should be for. For proven players. They won’t have to be forced to put financials above their personal feelings on whether they should go to the NFL asap.
I was actually hoping to snag him in the draft. I think he's a top 3 EDGE in this class so it kind of hurts me on the inside a bit.

It is very god damn weird having your two rooting interests play for the title in a sport where that’s utterly unreachable before the season starts for ~95% of teams.

I’ve noticed this year that PFF has really dialed back their college coverage. I know they’ve lost some of their analysts as well. So I guess it could be just budget cuts.

I used to like their weekly college week preview shows on YouTube. But they don’t do them anymore. It’s just NFL based shows & maybe they have some draft talk more so on the college side.

They refocused everything and made it much, much worse. Their social media accounts went to posting clickbait gobbledygook. College coverage is basically non-existent. They’ve lost not just analysts, but execs like their VP of R&D.

Even the quality of the main NFL podcast has tanked. There’s much less detail and explanation. Can we blame the younger Collinsworth? Because I do. All of their money got funneled into an app. Joy.

You’re damn right you can blame him.

I never had a sub. So I didn’t even know the full extent of it through the paywall. But the non-paywall stuff used to be pretty good. Now it’s just not really there.

I have a sub for ESPN but even Bill Connelly at ESPN isn’t the same.

Howard, I am begging you. The Steichen replacement is right here waiting.

Whenever it does happen, we'll find out if Kirby is Saban tier or Dabo tier. Replacing key assistants constantly is HARD.

I think it makes far too much sense Reich is getting that position unless he gets another head coaching job (which he should).
